We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Serving Professional . In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to guests, ensuring their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.
- You will consistently offer professional, friendly, warm, and engaging service to our guests.
- You will demonstrate a complete understanding of our policies, procedures, and service standards.
- You will have full knowledge of the menu and beverage lists in your outlet, as well as all other promotions taking place in the hotel.
- You will have knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents, and food preparation methods.
- You will assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful manner.
- You will follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages.
- You will report to work on time, in a neatly pressed, clean uniform, and with a name badge.
- You will understand shift end reports and have knowledge of non-cash/cash transactions and procedures for depositing monies into the safe or collecting due backs.
- You will attend pre-meal briefings, weekly and monthly meetings to continually improve the guest experience.
- You will follow outlet policies, procedures, and service standards.
- You will ensure linen is counted properly at the end of the shift.
- You will perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- You must have excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic speaking is an asset.
- You must be highly responsible and reliable.
- You must be able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- You must be able to work well in a team environment.
- Previous Micros experience is an asset but not required; training will be provided.
- You must have strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
Physical Aspects of the Job:
- You will frequently stand and walk throughout the shift.
- You may occasionally lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
- You will frequently kneel, push, pull, and sit.
