About you and this role

Manages the companys regional efforts to ensure regulatory compliance for all aspects of importing or exporting ensuring trade regulatory compliance. Requires broadened conceptual and working knowledge and experience in job discipline to perform a range of work assignments. You are expected to provide informal guidance to new team members and be able to explain complex information to is your responsibility to use technical experience established practices and personal judgement to analyze and resolve straightforward problems. Your performance impacts the quality of your own work and your teams work and requires that you work within established guidelines and policies.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for any import or export related operational issues
  • Understands the legal framework and policy restrictions for export or import control regimes and maintains processes for appropriate government agencies and system routines to comply
  • Acts as contact point for businesses and other functions for advice and assistance in case of non-standard import/export-related operational issues or questions
  • Implements new procedures/changes relative to outcome of e.g. government audits and new regulations
  • Investigates regulatory implications for new business flows/material flows
  • Requests licenses and ensures compliance with the conditions in the licenses

Qualifications

  • Required education: University Degree preferably in Supply Chain Management Business Engineering or other Sciences
  • Required experience: 3-6 years of experience in a Supply Chain or Manufacturing environment
