Job Description

We are seeking a talented Demand Planning Expert to join our team in Dubai, UAE.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing distributor markets in the Middle East and Africa regions, with a focus on statistical analysis, market data, and stakeholder collaboration.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  1. Developing and implementing demand planning processes to ensure accurate forecasting and supply chain optimization.
  2. Building strong relationships with regional supply planners, customer service teams, and logistics providers to ensure seamless stock availability and inventory management.
  3. Monitoring and analyzing inventory health metrics, including days of coverage, availability, service levels, and stock obsolescence risks.
  4. Providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders to optimize stock allocation and shipment decisions.
  5. Reviewing and aligning customer orders with commercial teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  6. Ensuring that supply-related constraints are addressed and phase-in/phase-out plans are executed effectively.
  7. Leading demand reviews and validation meetings as part of our sales and operations planning process.
  8. Implementing and managing collaborative planning, forecasting, and replenishment processes with key distributor partners.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, or sales and operations planning within the FMCG sector.
  • Proven experience in managing distributor-led markets and demand processes across multiple geographies.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, proficiency in Excel and planning tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across functions and regions.
  • A proven ability to act with speed and agility to deliver results.

  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance & Control teams, Operations, Chefs, and Regulatory teams to align sourcing strategies with product specifications, compliance requirements and market constraints.
  • Maintain and update supplier databases and procurement records in ERP systems.
  • Support contract negotiations and help ensure that contracts meet regulatory and business requirements.
  • Monitor supplier performance and service levels, escalating issues as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards, ethical sourcing policies, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Monitor supplier performance & relationship using KPIs and implement corrective actions where necessary.
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives and value engineering projects without compromising quality and safety standards.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on sourcing activities, savings, and market trends to higher management.
Other Duties
Regular attendance in conformance with the standards which may be established by the company from time to time is essential to the successful performance of this position.
Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the organization.
Qualifications
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Food Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement within the food industry and / or more generally within the FMCG sector.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and standards (e.g., HACCP, FSMA, BRC).
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP/procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and e-procurement tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Language: Perfect English, additional language is a plus

**Demand Planning Manager Opportunity**

We are seeking a highly skilled Demand Planning Manager to join our team in Dubai. As a key member of the Supply Chain Management and Customer Support function, you will be responsible for overseeing demand planning with a focus on safety stock control.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and execute demand plans to ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive purchase order management and stock turnover optimization
  • Monitor and stabilize order trends across Middle East and Africa markets
  • Provide exceptional customer service through timely resolution of parts-related queries (email, phone, system)
  • Prepare and present advanced Excel and PowerPoint reports to management
  • Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery
  • Support onsite technical and customer support initiatives through regional business trips (especially within Middle East and Africa)

**Requirements:**

  • Proven expertise in Excel & PowerPoint
  • Experience in consumer electronics/home appliances industry
  • Excellent communication and customer relationship skills
  • Open to travel across MEA region for customer visits

We are looking for a passionate Demand Planning Manager to manage Distributor Markets in Middle Eastern and African Markets, based out of Dubai, UAE.

Key responsibilities :

  • Lead the demand planning process for MEA markets using statistical capabilities, market data and inputs from all relevant internal and external stakeholders.
  • Build 24-months rolling in market sales and shipment SKU level forecast for all relevant markets, provide visibility into demand risks and opportunities, including scenario and sensitivity analysis.
  • Partner with regional supply planners and Customer Service & Logistics team to ensure stock availability against the customer orders.
  • Monitor inventory health metrics, including inventory days of coverage (DOH), availability, service levels and stock obsolescence risks.
  • Provide insights to influence stock / shipment re-allocation decisions of internal or external stakeholders to maintain freshness and availability.
  • Review and align the orders received from the customers with customers / commercial team to make sure they are in line with the prompted orders and business outlook.
  • Ensure that supply related constraints are addressed, phase-in / phase-out plans are done and discussed with the relevant plant or supply chain teams and actioned.
  • Be the supply chain spoke for new product launches ensure that these initiatives are executed as per the targeted volumes, values and timelines.
  • Lead Demand Reviews and Demand Validation Meetings as part of our S&OP process, participate in Market Business Reviews
  • Implement and manage CPFR (Collaborative Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment) processes with key distributor partners to enhance forecast reliability, availability and service levels.
  • Champion continuous improvement in forecasting processes, planning tools, and data quality.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience :

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Economics or a related field
  • 5-8 years' experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, or S&OP within the FMCG sector
  • Proven experience in distributor-led markets and managing demand processes across multiple geographies
  • Strong analytical and numerical ability, proficiency in Excel and planning tools (SAP APO / IBP, OMP)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across functions and regions with effective negotiation skills
  • A proven "doer" who acts with speed and agility to deliver results
  • Deep understanding of forecasting methodologies, inventory dynamics and S&OP processes
  • Experience in CPFR and collaborative forecasting with customers / distributors
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to work in a dynamic environment
  • Fluency in English
