Job Purpose

As the face of Emirates, you'll be the person customers turn to for help and direction when they fly with us, so you need to be friendly, observant and able to provide the right support.
Being a member of the cabin crew is so much more than a service role – safety is our highest priority. You'll need to lead confidently and take control when it comes to managing aircraft services, security, and safety procedures. This comes from the world-class learning experience our crew receive at our state-of-the-art facility in Dubai.

Qualifications & Experience

Here are some other things we look for in our cabin crew:

  1. You've had more than a year's experience in hospitality/customer service
  2. You have a positive attitude and the natural ability to provide excellent service in a team environment, dealing with people from many cultures
  3. Your minimum qualification is high school graduate (Grade 12)
  4. You need to be fluent in written and spoken English (ability to speak another language is an advantage)
  5. You're at least 160cm tall and can reach 212 cm while standing on tiptoes, to enable you to reach emergency equipment on all aircraft types
  6. No visible tattoos while you're in Emirates cabin crew uniform (without covering them with bandages or cosmetics)
  7. As Emirates cabin crew, you'll be based in Dubai and will need to meet the UAE's employment visa requirements

Aside from the requirements of the role, you should be determined to always perform to the highest standards, focus on being solution oriented, and be able to manage a demanding work schedule. You should have the ability to deliver an authentic experience to our customers. You'll be culturally aware and reflect the Emirates personality – professional, empathetic, progressive, visionary and cosmopolitan.

Salary & Benefits

Starting Salary & Flying Pay – Your pay is made up of three components: a fixed basic salary, an hourly pay for operated flights and an overseas meal allowance. Basic salary = AED 4,430 / month, Flying Pay = AED 63.75 / hour based on avg. 80-100 hours / month, Average Total Pay = AED 10,170 / month (~USD 2,770, EUR 2,710 or GBP 2,280). * These are approximate numbers for Grade II (Economy Class). Meal allowances for night stops are credited to the salary in arrears the following month. Hotel accommodation as well as transport to and from the airport is provided by the company.

Job Purpose: The SEO Controller will support search engine optimization initiatives as part of the Corporate Communications Digital portfolio. The SEO Controller plays a critical role throughout the product delivery cycle, supporting and maintaining the quality of and adherence to SEO standards across all Emirates digital platforms. The SEO controller provides specialist knowledge and backing to the Product, Design, Social, PR and Performance Media teams as well as Emirates Group IT. As part of the role, the SEO controller keeps the team apprised of the latest developments and trends in the search engine optimisation space, ensuring these are effectively implemented to maximise the number of relevant sessions, flight searches and bookings originating from organic search.

In this role you will:

  • Drive awareness of SEO requirements and implementation standards across internal teams to ensure changes to Emirates digital properties are delivered SEO ready.
  • Support and safeguard product rollouts through detailed and actionable technical SEO reports, forecasting the impact of proposed changes, whilst ensuring fundamentals such as meta tags, canonicals, heading usage, sitemaps, multi-lingual site structure, structured data and Core Web Vitals robustly adhere to best practice.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to research, define and develop content that contributes to organic search growth, articulating the expected and delivered impact.
  • Leverage the insight generated by internal SEO tools and/or SEO agency to identify technical errors or SEO implementation improvements, substantiating impact and driving changes from prioritisation through to delivery.
  • Research and analyse customer facing processes underserved by organic search to proactively initiate enhancements that will positively impact customer experience.
  • Remain up to date and advise stakeholders on evolving web technologies such as PWA (Progressive Web Application) and AMP (Accelerated Mobile Pages) impact on SEO.
  • Educate internal stakeholders on the role of content and how it contributes to driving SEO performance.
  • Work with external agency partners and internal analytics teams to develop measurement KPIs, set up tracking and create dashboards to clearly articulate SEO impact to relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience: To be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements:

  • Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) in Marketing, Communications or E-Commerce.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a digital role, client or agency side.
  • In-depth knowledge of technical SEO best practices, including SEO site architecture, HTML, site speed optimization, automation and scalability.
  • Strong understanding of the role of Content in Organic Search.
  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and front-end performance.
  • Ability to use tools like Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, Majestic SEO and Moz.
  • Knowledge of search engine crawlers and algorithms.
  • Awareness of the global Organic Search landscape beyond Google including Bing, Baidu, Yandex and Naver.
  • A good understanding of the impact wider digital channels and activities have on Organic Search.
  • High degree of initiative and reliability.
  • Distinct communication skills and a goal-oriented and team-oriented way of working.
  • Fluent in English.
