Job Description

The Finance Executive is responsible for supporting the daily financial operations of the hotel, including accounts payable, receivable, bank reconciliation, revenue auditing, and reporting. The Finance Executive (AR/Income) is responsible for managing the hotel's accounts receivable process, ensuring that all revenue is accurately recorded and collected in a timely manner. About the Job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Executive to join the Jumeirah Burj Al Arab team. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

  • Open the store on time and ensure all activities follow Jumeirah's Quality Management System and operating standards.
  • Maintain stock levels as per approved min/max, set par stocks, and raise purchase requests for below-minimum items.
  • Receive and verify items, store them by category, and issue them based on approved requisitions using the FIFO method.
  • Use the system to post requisitions daily, track unavailable items, and coordinate with Supply Chain & Logistics for timely deliveries.
  • Conduct daily inventory checks, monitor storage temperatures three times daily, and ensure compliance with expiry date guidelines.
  • Keep the store clean and safe, report urgent needs or slow-moving items to the Store Manager, and follow up on returned items and credit notes.
About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • A University degree (Bachelor's degree) or Equivalent in Finance.
  • At least 2-3 years in a similar role.
  • Experience working in a multi-cultural environment; confident in successfully handling complaints of various severity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with advanced skills in Excel.
