Corporate Finance provides financial support to the worldwide enterprise across a range of disciplines, including Corporate Accounting and Financial Planning. The Financial Planning & Analysis Group is responsible for long-term and short-term financial planning, forecasting, management reporting and analysis, and the creation of tools to help drive decision-making.
A senior financial analyst cum compliance support in this group reports to the Corporate FP&A Leader and will manage several high-profile financial responsibilities. This position plays a key role in providing analytical and business decision support to drive financial forecasts, operating budgets and strategic goals.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Work with SBU FP&A teams to coordinate the collection of information required to develop, analyze, and/or modify financial plans, which include the monthly forecast, annual operating plan (AOP) and long-term strategic plans (LRP)
+ Work closely with financial systems team and drive standardization and automation in reporting tools. While also acting as a liaison between Corporate and the Sectors/Business Units - drive collaboration.
+ Monitor and report financial performance, analyze and interpret operating results, investigate variances and unusual items; and evaluate their effect on operations. Report results along with recommendations for action.
+ Develop tools for early identification of financial problems and make recommendations for resolution of problems. Design, improve and maintain financial systems and models
+ Participate in the evaluation and review of major capital investments.
+ Prepare analyses and provide support for the quarterly earnings releases and calls
+ Collaborate with various teams such as Investor Relations, Treasury, and Acquisitions/Divestitures to support and drive processes.
+ Support in SOX audits and be involved in activities associated with SOX.
+ Support controllers on Audit activities.
+ Follow up and timely closure of findings identified during the audit
+ Conduct quarterly balance sheet reviews, follow up and resolve action items.
+ Lead and complete special projects that are assigned by the management
+ Flexibility to work overtime/weekends as needed.
+ Work with finance controllers and key business stakeholders to proactively identify control weaknesses and support actions to address
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent required
+ Master degree preferred and/or CPA, CMA
+ Minimum 5 years' experience in finance, accounting or related field, and strong Financial Analysis skills.
+ Demonstrated ability to establish & implement processes and perform in a fast-paced environment, while also to building a positive rapport and attitude with personnel throughout the worldwide organization
+ Advanced Excel Skills. Knowledgeable in MS Office, Hyperion Planning/HFM knowledge

This Financial Analyst, with a reporting line to the Head of Finance, shall have the overall insight across the budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting functions within the organisation. Our client will look to recruit a qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA) or a CFA/MBA-type profile with a strong gearing towards financial reporting and the production of management analysis, with a background from within a service-based provider. The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate a minimum of 5 years post-qualified experience and will be able to manage key management reporting lines within both accountancy and commercial formats. A solid grasp of IFRS will be a technical pre-requisite along with an ability to produce and develop reporting procedures, in co-ordination with both accounting teams and commercial finance. The client will also look for clear, concise and accurate reporting and communication-based skills within this pivotal finance position.
