Product Manager (Government Solution Products) is an expert on the GS Cards & Platforms, how it works, how it enables our partners, and ultimately how it solves customer problems. They are responsible for planning, designing and positioning of GS products, including development of collateral materials and documentation, providing business requirements in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance and working closely with engineering to deliver best-in-class products. They will also work closely with cross functional teams like Compliance, ITD, Card Center, Academy to ensure all new product goals are met, while supporting the company’s overall strategy and goals
Minimum Qualification - BA degree
Minimum Experience
5 years of relevant experience in any sector with at least 2 year in similar positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities in the portfolio analysis function. Past experience in payments industry desirable, but not mandatory for the right candidate.
Generic Accountability
- Contribution on Developing and planning of product and services ensuring on time delivery
- Work with product dept. on all GS product related aspects/requirements
- Meeting with the client and discuss business requirements and be able to clearly communicate the point of view.
- Able to coordinate with stakeholders (internal and external) efficiently and effectively and ensure proper follow ups. Escalate when necessary
- Research the markets to be able to come up with ideas to enhance the products taking into consideration the UAE market needs
- Life cycle management of GS products
- Arrange new enhancements on existing products and its features, work with project/IT and other stakeholders on launching new products
- Interact with Marketing, Sales, Credit, Card Operations and IT functions to work towards achieving the business requirements during the product life cycle.
- Obtain, develop, and maintain the MIS necessary to understand the product business dimensions, activity ratios, and customer spend patterns, customer segmentations, etc. in order to identify the strategic / tactical product initiatives that will support the business objectives.
- Continually reviewing existing product range, offerings, processes and sales channels to develop suggestions on improvements along with the product director.
- Work with schemes and other regulatory on product related requirements
- Arrange with marketing team for broadcasting EMS & SMS and other product promotional activates.
- Arranging documents such as PPG, RCSA, KRI, BCP, ECWRA, process documents, SLA’s etc. pertains to product.
