Responsibilities

  • Conduct health and safety assessments, audits, and inspections to identify risks, hazards, and compliance gaps within client operations.
  • Support clients in developing and implementing robust health and safety management systems and policies to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Advise clients on regulatory compliance, safety standards, and industry best practices related to occupational health and safety (OHS).
  • Develop tailored health and safety strategies to reduce workplace accidents, injuries, and health-related risks.
  • Assist in the preparation of health and safety reports, risk assessments, and documentation required for compliance and auditing purposes.
  • Provide technical guidance on health and safety regulations, ensuring clients are aware of their obligations under local, national, and international safety laws.
  • Support incident investigations, identifying root causes, recommending corrective actions, and developing preventive strategies.
  • Deliver training programs and workshops on health and safety best practices, emergency response procedures, and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate health and safety considerations into broader project strategies and business operations.
  • Stay current on health and safety regulations, trends, and technologies to offer innovative solutions to clients.
Qualifications
  • 3 years of experience in HSE implementation( HSEMS, procedures, development of procedures, plans, audits, inspections etc)
  • An engineering background
  • Certifications: NEBOSH, IOSH, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001
  • Experience in universities campuses is a plus
  • The project locations all over emirates (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Rwais, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and others )

Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Advisor for Safety, Health & Environment (SH&E) Supervision to join our team in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates. In this critical role, you will lead our efforts to ensure compliance with SH&E regulations, develop and implement comprehensive safety programs, and foster a culture of safety and environmental responsibility across our organization.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all SH&E-related matters, providing expert guidance to management and staff
  • Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive SH&E strategies and programs aligned with organizational goals and regulatory requirements
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement
  • Lead investigations into accidents, injuries, and near-misses, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SH&E best practices into all aspects of operations
  • Supervise and mentor junior SH&E staff, fostering their professional development and ensuring high-quality performance
  • Stay updated on UAE and international SH&E regulations, standards, and best practices, ensuring organizational compliance
  • Develop and deliver SH&E training programs to enhance awareness and competency across the organization
  • Prepare and present detailed SH&E reports and recommendations to senior management
  • Manage emergency response planning and crisis management initiatives
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and represent the organization in SH&E-related matters
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent certification (required for candidates with Engineering or related degrees)
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant SH&E field, with a focus on supervision and leadership
  • In-depth knowledge of UAE and international SH&E legislative and regulatory obligations
  • Proven track record in developing, implementing, and managing effective safety and health programs
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with excellent risk assessment and mitigation skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for SH&E management and reporting
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting inspections, reporting issues, and following up on corrective actions
  • Expertise in emergency response planning and crisis management
  • Familiarity with international SH&E standards (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001)
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to mentor and develop team members
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement in SH&E practices
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Decisiveness in addressing safety concerns and implementing corrective measures

    • Coordinating the assessment and formulation of risk management plans for clients within their case load and contribute to the formulation of risk management plans for other clients within the service.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify learning, behavioral, and emotional issues in children and adolescents.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies to support patients’ educational and developmental needs.
  • Collaborate with medical professionals, educators, and families to create a supportive and inclusive environment for patients.
  • Provide counseling and therapeutic services to patients and their families to address educational and psychological concerns.
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions for hospital staff, educators, and parents on topics related to educational psychology and child development.
  • Stay updated with the latest research and developments in educational psychology and apply evidence-based practices in clinical settings.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and documentation in compliance with hospital policies and regulations.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences to discuss patient progress and treatment plans.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Educational Psychology or a related field.
  • Valid licensure or certification as an Educational Psychologist.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in educational psychology, preferably in a clinical or hospital setting.
  • Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
