About the Role
The Host is considered the connection between the One&Only One Za’abeel and the Guests, overseeing all Guests’ needs during the stay and assisting them with reservations, special events, refreshment center preferences, room orientation, guest laundry cleaning services, packing, unpacking of their luggage. You will go beyond service basics, anticipating and creating everlasting memories for our Guests.
About You
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in guest relations or a similar role in a luxury hotel. You will have a strong guest drive, communication and organization skills, and attention to detail. You are able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously with excellent problem-solving abilities. You should be familiar with hotel reservation systems, and MS Office. Additional languages such as Arabic, French, Spanish, Russian, German, or Mandarin will be advantageous.

We’re on the lookout for passionate and dynamic Hosts to join our opening team and help deliver unforgettable hospitality in a one-of-a-kind setting.
What You’ll Do- Warmly meet and greet guests, showing them to their tables or waiting areas
- Provide guests with menus and communicate who their server will be
- Receive and record guests dining reservations
- Promote and distribute information at the host stand in relation to SUSHI SAMBA events and promotions
- Answer phones promptly, clearly and in line with SUSHI SAMBA standards
- Maintain an extensive knowledge of SUSHI SAMBA food and beverage options
- Attend mandatory pre shift meetings
- Previous experience working as a Host within a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills in the English language both written and verbal
- The ability to maintain and follow processes and standards
- Drive and ambition with the desire to learn and grow within the team
- Full ownership of your role
- Possess a valid Food Handler Card
- Valid documentation of your right to work in the U.S
- The ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently
- $19.65 per hour plus tips
