Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare Infrastructure Drawings: Create accurate, detailed, and clear technical drawings for infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, utilities, drainage systems, and other civil engineering components.
• CAD Software Proficiency: Use AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other CAD software tools to produce design drawings, layout plans, cross-sections, and profiles.
• Collaborate with Engineers: Work closely with civil engineers and project managers to understand design requirements and ensure that drawings meet project specifications.
• Revisions & Modifications: Revise drawings based on feedback, site conditions, or design changes, and ensure the updates are reflected in the project documentation.

Qualifications & Skills:
• Education: Diploma or degree in Drafting, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Draftsman, with specific experience in infrastructure projects (roads, utilities, bridges, etc.).
• CAD Proficiency: Advanced skills in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other drafting software tools. Experience with 3D modeling and GIS software is a plus.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to produce precise, error-free drawings and ensure the accuracy of all project plans.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure Standards: Familiarity with infrastructure design standards, construction codes, and regulations.

Job Description: Resident Engineer (Infrastructure, Utilities)

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Resident Engineer (Infrastructure, Utilities) to join our team! In this role you will get to plan, schedule, supervise, and exercise administrative authority over all field of engineering work.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Plans, organizes, and ensures adequate staffing, execution, and monitoring of all field engineering activities and related support operations.
  • Provides guidance regarding scope of work, schedules, procedures, field construction problems, and other technical information. Determines budget estimates and staffing requirements for the defined scope and schedule.
  • Establishes, monitors, and maintains construction engineering quality control in the field.
  • Collaborates with construction management to eliminate any hazards associated with the work that may adversely affect the environment or the safety or health of employees. Ensures that personnel of the assigned group engage in safe work practices in compliance with site-specific safety procedures and industry standards.
  • Establishes and maintains a close working relationship with project design engineering, client representatives, and contractors.
  • Maintains project control documentation, design drawings and specifications, back-charge documents, change orders, etc.
  • Monitors contractor performance pertaining to schedule and conformance to plans and specifications.
  • Conducts performance evaluations for assigned personnel.
  • Makes decisions regarding long‑range planning, scheduling, budgeting, work priorities, and personnel. Provide advice on field engineering procedures, construction methods, and financial matters to management.
  • Frequently interfaces with upper‑level management and client personnel.
  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
What Required Skills You’ll Bring:
  • Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University.
  • Minimum15+ years of overall work experience in construction supervision of large infrastructure, utilities including storm water, pump station, irrigations, drainages, sewerage projects etc.
  • Recent and substantial work experience of infrastructure, utilities projects in Dubai is must.
  • Knowledge of NOC Procedures, Commissioning and various Government Authority specification & procedures in the emirate of Dubai is required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English is required.
  • Proven leadership capability to lead a senior role.
What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:
  • Additionally, should have strong and hands‑on construction experience of minimum 5+ years as Resident Engineer.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction‑related processes as well as working knowledge of industry practices.
  • Commitment to quality and safe work practices.
