Landscape Inspector shall work under the direct supervision of Resident Engineer at designated site and perform the following functions, but not limited to:

  1. Fulfilling tasks of Construction Supervision, such as supervise Contractors onsite installation works, support on elaborating design.
  2. Following up thereof implementation of works according to specifications and drawings.
  3. Review Contractor’s submittal for Landscape and related works such as Work and Material Inspection Requests, etc. to ensure the compliance with Contract Documents.
  4. Witness the tests included in the Inspections and Tests Plans and verify compliance of tests to continue works accordingly.
  5. Ensure the compliance of works according to the documentation and checklists enclosed with Request for Inspections. Issue and follow-up of Non-compliance notices for corrective actions of works.
  6. Assure completion of quantified units of works in Request for Inspections.
  7. Provide technical advice to Project Team/ Stakeholders related to landscape construction works and provide site-based solutions.
  8. Conduct routine inspections and witness each stage of construction and report to the Resident Engineer.
  9. Monitor and record site progress and keep record of day works of assigned projects.
  10. Ensure that the Project HSE and QA/QC requirements are followed.
  11. Prepare snag lists and follow up Review of Project Closeout Documentation.
  12. Perform other project and duties as assigned by the management.
Job Requirements
  1. Attested university certificate in Agriculture/ Horticulture or equivalent subject with post graduate experience of 5 years GCC specific Landscape especially related to softscape and hardscape works.
