- Compliance: Ensure compliance with customs laws, regulations, and trade agreements, as well as company policies.
- Customs Clearance Process: Submit customs declarations to customs authorities and ensure timely clearance of goods.
- Liaison with Customs Authorities: Act as the primary point of contact between customs authorities, shipping companies, and us.
- Tariff Classification & Duties: Calculate and verify customs duties, tariffs, and taxes.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of customs documents and transactions.
- Problem Resolution: Address and resolve customs clearance issues.
- Consultation & Advice: Provide guidance on import/export regulations and documentation requirements.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks in customs clearance and take proactive measures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in logistics and supply chain management.
- Minimum 4 years of Customs Clearance or Cross Border experience.
- Experience in logistics and ecommerce preferred.
