Group CMO Role: Lead Brand Strategy Across a Multi-Sector Private Equity Portfolio

Reporting to the Group CEO, you will be the architect and owner the group’s brand identity, positioning, and communication strategy. You will work directly with portfolio company CEOs to design and deliver strategies that scale their businesses, ensuring consistency and impact across B2B and B2C markets.

This role is for a “doer” — someone ready to roll up their sleeves, lay strong foundations, and deliver visible results in the first six months. You will balance strategic vision with hands-on execution, guiding internal teams and freelancers without relying on layers of agencies.

Key Marketing and Brand Leadership Responsibilities
  • Develop and own the group-wide brand strategy, positioning, and messaging.

  • Lead the rebranding process and oversee the launch of a new corporate website.

  • Partner with portfolio company CEOs to create marketing strategies that accelerate growth, tailored to each business’s stage and market.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree; preferably with a concentration in finance, economics, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience.
  • General knowledge of and familiarity with financial instruments (i.e. equities, fixed income, options, swaps, futures, foreign exchange) within both domestic and global securities markets
  • In depth knowledge of interest rate swaps, swaptions, and exchange traded derivatives highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with fixed income and futures delivery processing.
  • Systems experience with OSTTRA, Trax, Orchestrade, Geneva and Bloomberg beneficial.
  • Self-starter with excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

Responsible for working along with a growing team of Account Managers, Senior Fund Accountants, and Fund Accountants involved in NAV calculation, Shareholder Reporting, and Compliance from Dubai office, Apex Global Support Centers, or any other Apex location.

The Account Manager/AVP will be primarily responsible for planning, scheduling, and managing the daily workflows of all client deliverables such as NAV computation, Transfer Agency, or Audit. To actively collaborate with the extended team at Global Support Centers.

The candidate will also be heavily involved in the implementation of the take-on process of new clients, which will involve review of PPMs, various agreements, setting up of NAV reporting packages suitable to the client’s requirements, setup on PFS Paxus (and/or any other system), and initial NAV calculations.

All work carried out will require detailed reviews for correctness and adherence to Apex policies and procedures. To become conversant with PFS Paxus software (or any other software, as required). To maintain the client relationship, take responsibility for coordination of regulatory reporting, audit preparation, and due diligence requirements. To prepare and/or review MIS reporting required by Senior Management or Apex Group.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the NAV preparation and review process for our Hedge Fund clients, including management of the entire process
  • Timely delivery of any other client-specific reporting requirements
  • Planning, scheduling, and managing the daily workflows of all client deliverables within the team
  • Reconciliation of investment portfolios, dividends, interest, corporate actions, and investor capital activity
  • Good understanding of various types of Performance fee calculation, equalization, Management fee calculations
  • Effective coordination with various support centers of Apex whenever required
  • Responsible for accruing/amortizing daily or monthly non-security related Fee accruals including management fees, performance fees, and financing accruals
  • Assist in the preparation and review of subscription, redemption pack, and ensuring timely communication with investors of the funds
  • Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements & liaising with auditor as required and managing the entire audit process
  • To ensure timely and accurate preparation of distribution calculations, tax statements, and liaising with the tax advisor of the fund
  • Monitoring and review of the payments to be initiated for the client
  • Ensuring client enquiries are answered in accordance with Apex service standards on an ongoing basis
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and other requirements of the fund's specifications
  • Ongoing implementation and refinement of SSAE 18 controls along with coordination with internal auditors and external SSAE auditors

Additional Responsibilities include cross-selling services, developing client relationships, ensuring adherence to procedures, working on large fund mandates, internal and global projects, and acting as a point of contact for audits, tax, and compliance queries.

Skills required include 7-9 years’ experience, understanding of US GAAP & IFRS, complex fund structures, strong PC skills, relevant qualifications, knowledge of financial securities, commercial awareness, leadership, organizational and communication skills, and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Strong experience in the Banking industry (primarily Retail banking; additional experience on Wealth is preferred).
  • Experience with communication to senior stakeholders / C-suite.
  • Ability to deep-dive into the details of each project and help the team progress.
  • Experience in operating and managing AWS environment.
  • Ability to travel to Riyadh (at least 50% of the time, i.e. 2 weeks onsite and 2 weeks remote).
  • Flexibility to work Sunday to Thursday (based on Saudi Arabia working days).
  • Experience using a tool called Sumologic.
  • Great excel and PowerPoint skills.

This position will act as the lead Account Executive for the set of Accounts or Prospects in Saudi Arabia, working with a virtual team of Cloud Specialists, Solution Experts and Supporting colleagues, helping to set the vision and strategy to grow the revenue associated with the set of accounts on an annual basis.

This is the highest echelon of roles within Salesforce for Account Executives and as such a demonstrable track record, proven experience and leadership skills will be the defining factors in the successful candidate’s profile.

To work in our Enterprise Business Sales team focussed on Salesforce’s existing and prospective clients in Saudi Arabia.


As Salesforce continues to accelerate its presence in region, this position will involve managing both existing customers and building new relationships with prospective clients


This position sits in the Core Sales team at Salesforce therefore, the ideal candidate would have proven credibility at managing large, virtual teams in support of the Vision and Strategy that they would create for their accounts.

  • The successful candidate will act and lead as the most Senior AE in this regional Business Unit.

  • Increase revenue spend across a set of new and existing customers while building the Salesforce presence in the local market.

  • This role would be ideal for someone who has experience in Financial Services with a proven track record of software sales over the last 15 years,About Team

  • This role sits in our Enterprise Business Sales unit which is the top tier of accounts within the company

  • The role would be known as a Core Role as the selected candidate would own the Vision, Strategy and Stakeholder Management in each account, primarily responsible for Salesforce Core AI products, such as Sales CRM but also working with Sales Account Executives responsible for other Salesforce Cloud Solutions to ultimately drive towards one growth target.Preferred Qualifications

  • University Graduate Calibre

  • At least 15 years of successful, referenceable Sales Experience, preferably in Software Sales

  • Knowledge and contacts within the Saudi Arabian market would be a competitive advantage

  • Currently resides in the UAE or is willing for a relocation within 3 months

  • Has a local driving licence

  • Is fluent in English at a Business level, with Arabic preferable

  • Has no restrictions to travel internationally.

This is a mix of a New Business and an Existing Business Role rather than one of solely managing existing accounts. The preferred candidate will have a proven track record in creating sales through excellent business development skills, territory planning, pipeline generation and the closing of significant Cloud software opportunities.
