+ Influencing and gaining buy-in from key stakeholders, either in a customer-facing or internal role; prior experience in a pre-sales role is ideal

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly capable Anti-Money Laundering & Fraud Specialist Solutions Architect, based in Dubai, to support our go-to-market efforts across the Middle East & Africa (MEA) and Asia-Pacific (APAC) regions. This role reports directly to the Global Head of Sales Engineering and is responsible for aligning Azentio’s Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) solutions with complex client requirements, regulatory mandates, and regional market expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the lead FCC solutions architect during client engagements, workshops, and RFP processes across MEA and APAC.
  • Translate regulatory requirements (FATF, MENAFATF, APG, local FIUs) into solution architecture using Azentio’s AML, fraud, and screening platforms.
  • Design and demonstrate comprehensive compliance workflows including transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, customer risk profiling, and real-time fraud detection.
  • Engage directly with compliance heads, risk teams, and IT stakeholders to assess needs, build solution proposals, and ensure technical alignment.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with customers to gain a deep understanding of their requirements and capabilities.
  • Perform Link Budget Analysis utilizing optimal satellite capacity based on available inventory.
  • Design customized technical solutions and develop comprehensive technical proposals that align with customer needs. Solutions may include satellite capacity, satellite capacity with managed services, or managed services alone.
  • Support the Sales team in project design by assessing available satellite capacity, equipment, technology, and infrastructure to ensure alignment with technical requirements.
  • Partner with Sales to analyze RFP requirements and collaborate internally to develop compelling technical proposals.
  • Engage with customers to validate and refine proposed solutions and ensure alignment with their expectations.
  • Identify and evaluate potential partnerships to address market demands effectively.
  • Drive opportunity prioritization within the region.
  • Coordinate customer availability and technical support team resources to efficiently drive work orders.
  • Ensure the readiness of the space segment and ground equipment before service activation.
  • Monitor project progress to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Customer Communication:
  • Keep the customer informed with regular updates.
  • Ensure the customer stays on track to meet their goals.
  • Understand the customer’s plans to position ABS for future opportunities.
  • Primary technical point of contact for escalating ongoing operational issues that require customer action.

Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in satellite communications, including technologies, topologies, and applications.
  • Proven expertise in Link Budget Analysis, with a comprehensive understanding of its core principles, is essential for this position.
  • Solid understanding of ground equipment functionality, implementation, and operation – hands-on experience is an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with the EMEA regional market, including customer needs, competitors, vendors, available solutions, and market pricing.
  • Proficient in VSAT platforms and modem technologies, including data and video services such as iDirect, Newtec, Comtech & UHP, Gilat, HNS, and Novelsat.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of mobility networks and SATCOM on the move solutions.
  • Knowledge of design and installation of video services including contribution, distribution, OTT, and emerging technologies – experience in Video Broadcasting is a plus.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
  • At least five (5) years of experience in Sales Engineering or a similar role, specifically with satellite communication services and ground equipment.
  • Strong team player, collaborating effectively with peers, sales teams, and customers.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment while performing duties.
  • Fluent in English – additional language skills are a plus.

+ Be part of the CEE META (Central Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Africa) team of Services Presales Consultants and work on opportunities in Africa as well as across the region. + Manage Solution development (sometimes using expertise from other disciplines) including solution design, scope documents, risk profile, and financials; coordinate the Team of Subject Matter Experts and Solution Architects in the Solution definition and services effort estimates
+ Create deliverables, RFP responses and SOW based on Dell Services offers according to the Solution needs. Act as the Services Presales solution owner and contribute to the sales pursuit strategy. Ensure internal Services Deal Governance is applied to all proposals (RFP and SOWs) and support deal negotiation and closure to include transition to service delivery
+ Contribute to business results through quality of solution, advice and decisions. SME and evangelist regarding Dell Services Brand: represent DTS in Dell Tech Organization through internal presentations, programs and training
