Requirements:- At least five years of experience in Spain, specifically Madrid or Andalusia

- A permanent position with a fixed salary based on suitability

Job Title: Payroll Expert
This is a key role in the organization responsible for ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.
As a Payroll Expert, you will be working closely with other departments to manage payroll-related tasks and ensure all data related to salaries, deductions, and benefits are recorded correctly.
- Process and review payroll for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Maintain and update payroll records ensuring all data entry is accurate.
- Collaborate with HR to address any discrepancies in employee hours or benefits.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state payroll tax regulations and requirements.
- Prepare and distribute employee payroll checks on time consistently every cycle.
- Generate financial and operational reports related to payroll and workforce costs.
- Manage systems for processing pay and coordinating with accounting departments.
- Assist employees with payroll inquiries, explaining deductions and earnings clearly.
- Develop processes to improve efficiency in payroll operations and record-keeping.
- Stay informed of changes in payroll laws and regulations at both state and federal levels.
- Coordinate with finance to ensure payroll is integrated with company budget plans.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in payroll processing, software systems, and data management.
- Strong understanding of payroll tax legislation and compliance requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on numerical accuracy and confidentiality.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively and address inquiries professionally.
