About the RoleWe are seeking a Marketing & Design Manager to handle Aramid Capital's branding, communications, product materials and digital presence. This role combines advanced design expertise with strategic marketing capabilities, ensuring professional, high-quality content and visuals for the firm across all channels.
The ideal candidate will be proficient using design tools and the have the ability to support the firm's business development efforts through inputs into its marketing strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Branding & Marketing
- Develop high-standard marketing materials: corporate presentations, one-pagers, brochures, product presentations, factsheets, and brand templates
- Enforce company design chart and maintain brand guideline consistency across all communication channels
- Digital Presence & Website
- Manage and frequently update the corporate website (design, UX, and content)
- Coordinate with the investment team to enhance product and services digital content
- Implement SEO and analytics to measure performance and client interaction
- Content & Communications
- Design and distribute newsletters, client updates, and marketing emails via CRM platforms (Zoho Campaigns or similar)
- Oversee social media (LinkedIn primarily), including content creation, scheduling, and analytics
- Events & Conferences
- Plan and manage participation in investment events in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, including booth design, logistics, and branding presence
- Coordinate with vendors, event organizers, and internal stakeholders
- Advertising & Campaigns
- Design and execute targeted advertising campaigns (digital and print)
- Track ROI and prepare regular performance reports for management
- Design & Branding Tools: Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), Figma, Canva
- Web & Content Management: WordPress, Webflow, or equivalent CMS; basic HTML/CSS knowledge preferred
- CRM & Marketing Automation: Zoho One (Zoho Campaigns, Zoho Social, Zoho CRM) or similar platforms
- Analytics & Performance Tools: Google Analytics, SEO tools, LinkedIn Campaign Manager
- Presentation & Productivity: PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe PDF and MS Office software
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Design, Communications, or Business (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing and design, preferably in financial services, asset management, or professional services
- Proven track record of managing end-to-end marketing campaigns (from design to execution and measurement)
- Strong graphic design portfolio demonstrating both digital and printed work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
- Good understanding of corporate branding in regulated industries (finance, consulting, or legal)
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and coordinate with senior management

Job purpose
Senior Marketing Manager independently establish, maintain, and evaluate marketing plans in line with Event Strategies with final sign-off from the Portfolio Marketing Lead.
Direct reports
The Senior Marketing Manager is likely to have direct reports including a Marketing Manager (where applicable), Marketing Executive, and/or Marketing Coordinators, and can manage, nurture, and empower both direct and indirect reports.
Key accountabilities
- Leadership & Team Management: Manage a team of marketers working across a range of events within the portfolio. Provide guidance, feedback, and inspiration to the direct report line. Contribute to a culture of positivity, high performance, and growth mindset. Where applicable, develop development roadmaps for high-potential staff. Ensure direct line reports are competent people managers and have the required skills and training. Identify training needs and ensure reports are technically proficient. Champion the adoption and optimization of marketing technology solutions. Persuade and influence senior team members with fact-based insight and feedback.
Planning, Campaign Management & Execution, Analysis & Insight
- Lead on the strategic thinking, planning, and execution of an integrated multi-channel marketing plan and budget aligned with the overall Event Strategy.
- Develop deep understanding of the industry and its stakeholders for data segmentation and messaging purposes. Create personas, value propositions, and messaging for key stakeholder profiles.
- Collaborate with direct reports to ensure delivery of campaigns in line with KPIs. Create and deliver a Content Marketing plan that resonates with the audience and supports event goals.
- Create a website strategy that attracts and converts visitors, using Google Analytics to optimize performance. Ensure show websites are up to date with campaign information.
- Manage social media channels with business guidelines to attract, engage, and convert followers. Develop a data build and verification strategy aligned with event goals and KPIs.
- Work with internal compliance and shared services (data, digital, etc.) to ensure timely and clear brief submissions. Manage third-party suppliers and partnerships with clear SLAs (PR, digital, social media, registrations, etc.). Build relationships with media partners and associations to raise awareness and drive participation.
- Coordinate the design and production of marketing collateral (sales brochures, post-show reports, print ads, web banners, email templates, etc.). Write creative, persuasive copy and ensure approvals and error-free content. Analyze response rates and trends to improve performance and identify growth opportunities. Share insights with sales, event teams, and senior management; stay informed on industry changes and new marketing channels.
Qualifications and experience
- At least 4-5 years of demonstrable experience in events and/or B2B media. Demonstrable marketing experience with the aptitude to learn and grow.
- Strong knowledge of marketing best practices with emphasis on social media marketing. Experience in the Middle East market is a plus.
- Arabic written and spoken is a strong asset. Ability and willingness to travel for business and events.
- Experience in dealing with and managing key stakeholder relations. Ability to network with senior people and trade bodies. Up-to-date with 360 marketing and measurement best practices.
