As Consumer Insight Manager you will lead and execute consumer insight initiatives to guide fragrance development and innovation helping increase our winning rate with clients. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality research actionable insights and strategic recommendations that influence product development and commercial success. This role offers the opportunity to work across diverse markets and categories collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to shape the future of fragrance.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement consumer insight plans in collaboration with sales and fragrance development teams.
- Conduct and manage quantitative and qualitative research including agency briefing negotiation and quality control.
- Analyze research data critically using internal tools linking insights to real-world actions and business impact.
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration from project initiation to final delivery including logistics and fieldwork.
- Organize creative workshops and sessions to translate insights into winning briefs and commercial strategies.
- Maintain transparent communication on project status budget and timelines with management and stakeholders.

- Bachelors degree in Marketing Business Psychology or a chemistry-related field (Masters preferred).
- 5 years of experience in market research within FMCG research agencies or the fragrance/flavor industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of market research planning and organizing and decision-making.
- Excellent analytical and creative thinking skills to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Outstanding communication presentation and interpersonal skills with diplomacy and high ethical standards.
- Language skills:English required; Arabic and French are a plus.

Position
The Consumer Insights Manager will be responsible for
Consumer Incidence and Tracker studies; agency management:
- Collaborate closely with research agencies to ensure alignment with JTI's strategic goals
- Ensure timely and accurate data capture and reporting to provide valuable insights for strategic decision making
- Conduct thorough ad-hoc analyses to derive actionable insights that drive business impact.
- Implement rigorous data validation processes and quality improvement steps to ensure the reliability and accuracy of insights
- Efficiently manage administrative tasks, including negotiation and contract management, to overcome operational challenges and ensure seamless execution
Consumer segmentation:
- Manage and deliver Consumer Segmentation maps to provide an in-depth understanding of the motivations and pain points of consumers based on specific consumer types
- Foster strong collaboration with Brand, RRP, and Sales teams to ensure consumer segmentation insights are integrated into all strategic planning and execution
- Act as a bridge between various departments to create a unified approach to understanding and addressing consumer needs
- Deliver consumer segmentation maps that offer in-depth understanding and actionable insights into consumer motivations and pain points
- Ensure that the segmentation analysis drives meaningful actions and contributes to the development of targeted marketing strategies and product offerings
- Tackle the complexity of diverse consumer segments to deliver sophisticated and nuanced understanding of segmentation models
Qualitative studies:
- Manage and deliver consumer insights from ad-hoc qualitative research
- Understand specific business questions and consumer niches, translating them into targeted ad-hoc qualitative research studies
- Collaborate closely with Brand, Ploom, and Sales teams to ensure the research aligns with strategic objectives and business needs
- Oversee the management of research agencies to ensure high-quality and relevant qualitative studies
- Deliver clear and actionable recommendations based on qualitative insights to help Brand, Ploom, and Sales teams make informed decisions
- Take on the challenge of interpreting complex qualitative data and presenting it in a way that is easily understood by stakeholders

Support business driving activities leaning on research expertise:
- Work closely with the Marketing & Sales organization to ensure they fully understand and effectively use research data for business planning and decision making
- Act as a trusted advisor to M&S teams, helping them leverage consumer insights for strategic initiatives
- Deliver crucial consumer insights for market modeling, actual performance reviews, and provide relevant insights regarding market specifics during the planning period and on an ad-hoc basis
- Ensure that the insights provided are actionable and contribute directly to the achievement of business objectives
- As per the instructions of the SI Lead, participate in and support the development of presentations for AP, regional visits, GM meetings, and other business needs

- Use innovative approaches to support business planning activities, ensuring that consumer insights are forward-thinking and anticipate future market trends
Budget planning and management:

Job Description
Lead the development of annual and multiyear plans with Visa's clients and partners, including financial institutions, merchants, and FinTechs. Leverage Visa's sponsorship assets, capabilities, partnerships, and advisory services in this process.
Develop a clear understanding of the clients' business strategies and objectives, aligning them with Visa's strategic goals in the market.
Use a data-driven approach, leveraging consumer trends and insights to propose initiatives that drive business growth.
Exhibit a strong understanding of digital marketing practices and advise clients on the best strategies to achieve strong business results using tools, platforms, influencers, and sponsorship assets.
Identify new market opportunities that will increase value-added services to clients and end consumers.
Establish, develop, and maintain strong collaborative relationships across internal and external stakeholders.
Build strong relationships with clients, internal stakeholders, and agency partners, translating strategy into actionable objectives and driving efficiency within defined processes.
Influence and gain support from client partners to participate in Visa marketing activities through collaboration, influence, and negotiation.
Execute digital marketing campaigns and initiatives to support Visa's strategic objectives and clients' business goals.
Leverage Visa's sponsorship assets, partnerships, and capabilities across the region and globally to deliver value to our client partners.
This is a hybrid position. The number of days in the office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications
- Knowledge of various digital marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
- Understanding of how to measure and analyze the performance of different channels.
- Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work with large datasets and data visualization tools to create engagement opportunities and drive strategic outcomes.
- Strong planning and project management skills, with excellent written and spoken communication.
- Significant experience in marketing, with a strong record in campaign planning, implementation, target setting, and flawless delivery.
- Strong understanding of key P&L drivers to build effective business cases.
- Strong understanding of digital and performance marketing practices.
- Proven track record in managing external clients, agencies, and developing integrated campaign materials.
- Strong self-management skills, including drive and energy.
- Understanding of the region, multicultural sensitivity, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive culture.
- Willingness to travel as relevant, in accordance with Visa's safety and security policies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Tech, FMCG, retail banking is advantageous.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Advertising, or equivalent; diploma is acceptable.
- Proven relationship management and sales skills.
- Minimum of 3 years of marketing experience.
