The Procurement Director will be responsible for managing the Strategic Sourcing, Purchasing, Logistics and Operational Planning functions across people, processes and technology. The Procurement Director will play a key part in the current and continued success of the procurement function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess the current structure and set the strategic direction for all procurement activity in line with key business objectives.
- Manage strategic and operational activity to exceed key performance targets in line with group standards.
- Work with the commercial team to reduce contract/supplier risk.
- Develop a strategic global sourcing and supply chain programme.
- Establish category objectives, sourcing strategies and supplier objectives that support the business plan to ensure a best in class supply chain performance.
- Ensure that all procurement staff are motivated and developed.
To be considered you will be a senior procurement leader with a broad supply chain background able to set strategy, influence and deliver. Experience of Middle East Procurement is a must.
