  • Conduct market research to evaluate and select appropriate materials and additives to enhance product performance, durability, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Identify market sources and suppliers for raw materials and components.
  • Create prototypes and conduct rigorous testing to validate design concepts and ensure product reliability and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Sales, Procurement, and Manufacturing to ensure seamless product development and launch processes.
  • Lead product certification and related testing processes, ensuring compliance with applicable industry regulations.
  • Develop and maintain product testing plans in line with industry standards.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for all product development activities, including design specifications, test results, and user manuals.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical / Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus)
  • Minimum1–3 years of experience in product development within the manufacturing sector
  • Experience in developing new productsand processes
  • Proficiency in CAD software(e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
  • Knowledge of product testing standards, methodologies, and fire classifications
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and business case analysis
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Familiarity with relevant regulatory standards in the manufacturing industry (preferred)
  • Prior involvement in the full product lifecycle,from concept to market launch (preferred)
