Role Purpose
We are seeking an exceptional Project Controls Lead to join large scale project in Ras Al Khaimah for one of our prominent client in real estate.
What this job involves
Schedule Management: Develop maintain and update an integrated master schedule incorporating all project phases.
Progress Monitoring and Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and furnish interactive dashboards for Client covering schedule cost quality and safety aspects across all project phases and assist in data-driven decision-making processes.
Project planning and Controls: Establish planning and project controls principles for Contractors to develop project baseline programme. Conduct workshops with Contractor to finalize program.
Project Reports: Establish robust reporting formats for Contractor/subcontractors weekly/monthly reports including approved program updates procurement tracker Authorities permits/NOCs tracker key milestones performance identify any potential critical risks/delays and monitor dynamic critical path.
Mitigation Strategies: Conduct meetings with project team to agree mitigation strategies for project risks/delays to agree mitigation strategies and ensure mitigation implementation for critical risks. Assist project team for contract management and issue contractual letters to reserve Clients right.
Change Management: Evaluate the impact of proposed changes to project and provide recommendation to Client for decision making.
Claims Management: Assess Contractors EOT claims and provide recommendation to project team and Client to facilitate decision making.
Desired skills and experience for this
Bachelors degree plus (10) years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
High rise/complex buildings experience. Previous experience with large multi-million-dollar projects/programs
Proven client relationship management
Familiarity with fundamentals of contracts and project accounting principles.
Understanding of contract terms accounting principles and billing procedures
Strong problem solving organisational people maths and accounting skills.
Experience in earned value management preferred.
Scheduling using MS Project and P6 desirable
