Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with customers to deliver solutions while seeking feedback for improvement.
  • Develop work plans and cost estimates for projects to ensure timely quality delivery within targeted costs.
  • Coordinate with relevant functions to ensure designs are properly manufactured, staged, tested, installed, and commissioned.
  • Coach engineering colleagues on translating conceptual designs into engineering documentation and best practices.
  • Approve design deliverables, ensuring conformity, safety, and quality as a technical lead.
  • Anticipate and resolve critical issues by applying advanced concepts and methods.
  • Participate in project meetings, address technical issues, and meet contractual obligations.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, contractual requirements, and engineering guidelines.
  • Provide technical support during commissioning and start-up activities to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Expertise in designing and implementing Operational Technology (OT) network solutions for control systems and hands-on experience with industrial cybersecurity frameworks in the Oil & Gas and Power & Water sectors.
  • Over 5 years of experience in industrial networking and cybersecurity, including hands-on work with control systems and OT environments.
  • Adept in Cisco Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches, VLAN/VTP/STP/RSTP/MSTP/VRRP/MRP/PRP, MLPS, L2/L3 VPNs, and various network monitoring tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with excellent interpersonal skills in customer interactions.
  • Degree in engineering or an equivalent field, with extensive knowledge of cybersecurity for industrial automation systems.
  • Proficiency in English, both technically and in customer-facing environments.
  • Current CCNA and CCNP certifications (R&S/Security), with a solid understanding of OT-specific standards like ISA/IEC 62443.
  • Experience with cybersecurity solutions including McAfee ePO, ENS Threat Prevention, Application Whitelisting, industrial firewalls (Tofino, Eagle), Cisco FTD, FortiGate, and Sophos.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory Group Policy configuration and system hardening, along with backup systems like Acronis.

Job Purpose

The Project Management Officer is responsible for maintaining strong rapport between the strategic projects and strategic objectives and goals. They collaborate with internal and external business stakeholders and work closely with the leadership to achieve successful implementation of projects and key initiatives. Key Accountability Areas and Activities

The key activities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Providing advice and guidance to leadership and divisional units on best practices and strategies to achieve the Fund's strategic objectives.
  • Identify and monitor potential risks that may affect strategy implementation, identify opportunities for improvement and apply best practices to enhance the achievement of strategic objectives.
  • Promote knowledge sharing and learning by documenting best practices and lessons learned and disseminating relevant information to team members within the Fund.
  • Establish working and collaborative relationships with relevant internal (e.g. departments/divisions) and external stakeholders (e.g. Consultants) in a manner that supports the achievement of the Office's objectives and enhances strategic partnerships.
  • Actively gain exposure and insights to local market development, business opportunities and the existing regulatory landscape and leverage it to enhance stakeholder management capabilities, in line with AMF's strategic objectives.
  • Promote a high-performance working environment embracing AMF's values to support the creation of a performance-based culture.
  • Promote a culture of innovation within the institutional work environment, applying best practices to encourage creative problem-solving, and generating ideas and initiatives that help achieve the fund's objectives.
  • Contribute to driving a strategic culture in the fund in line with its mission, vision and goals.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in strategic planning and implementation, strategic project management, or risk management, preferably in the financial sector
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management or equivalent
  • Professional Certificates: PMP (Project Management Professional), CAPM (Certified Associate of Project Management) or equivalent are preferred.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in Arabic and English. French, as a third language, is a solid advantage
