CSCEC ME is recruiting a QA/QC Engineer to join our Quality Team for a newly awarded large-scale High Rise Tower project in Dubai, UAE.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Preparation & submission of method statement & ITP.
  • Preparing all Civil, Architectural, ID inspection including material inspections.
  • Prepare training plan for different trades prior to activity starting at site.
  • Ensure all inspections at site are running as per ITP.
  • Ensure that all the testing’s are being conducted as per approved method statement & ITP.
  • Monitor all the tools and equipment’s at site that needs calibration.
  • Prepare QA/QC monthly report & project KPI report.
  • Liaise with the consultant for resolving any issue at site with regard to the quality of the work.
  • Liaise with consultant for the closure of NCRS.
  • ADM inspections follow up.
  • Preparing Handing over documents for the project.
  • Maintain all QAQC related records as per project quality plan and IMS system.
  • Lead and ensure that the construction teams are aware about the checking and testing criteria prior to start any activity at site.
  • Liaise with corporate QHSE Dept for the preparation of any Internal or external audits.
  • Other duties assign by QA/QC Manager

The Quality Control (QC) Engineer for Windows Doors and Facades is responsible for ensuring that all aluminium productsincluding windows doors and faadescomply with the companys quality standards as well as relevant industry regulations and specifications. This role includes conducting material inspections testing finished products managing quality documentation and working closely with manufacturing teams to resolve product quality issues. The QC Engineer also plays a key role in driving process optimization and continuous improvement in the production of aluminium-based systems. This position reports directly to the Quality Control Manager.

  • Plan and direct activities related to the development and implementation of quality standards for architectural aluminium works in building projects.
  • Support fabricators on-site by conducting inspections and ensuring adherence to quality procedures for systems used in the projects aligning with approved fabrication and installation method statements.
  • Deliver training sessions workshops and guidance to fabrication teams covering standard fabrication procedures to maintain high-quality output.
  • Develop and maintain documentation including forms and instructions for recording evaluating and reporting quality and reliability data; provide detailed reports following each site visit and training session.
  • Coordinate with consultants and site representatives for inspections and to address any quality-related issues.
  • Conduct material analysis using appropriate tools and software to prepare material lists and fabrication sheets for training and production use.
  • Assist technical and logistics teams with the preparation of materials and documentation required for technical submittals in accordance with the proposed system specifications for each project.
  • Perform any additional tasks or assignments as directed by the Manager.
Your qualifications and skills
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering Materials Science Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Alternatively a vocational education in mechanics or a related technical discipline will also be considered.
  • Certifications in quality control (e.g. Six Sigma CQE) are highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 35 years of experience in quality control specifically in aluminum fenestration (windows/doors) or faade industries.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS) ISO standards and construction-related regulations.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD to read and interpret drawings (drawing creation not required).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and experience conducting root cause analysis.
  • Knowledge of industry standards for windows doors and facades such as EN 14351-1 CE marking and energy efficiency standards
  • Proficient in using quality management software (e.g. SAP Minitab) and MS Office tools.
  • Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken) are required; proficiency in Arabic is preferred but not essential).
  • Occasional travel to supplier or project sites may be required.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing or production environment which may include exposure to heavy machinery and construction materials.

Health & Safety: Consistently work in a safe manner, considering oneself, co-workers, and manufacturing systems. Perform general housekeeping and waste removal within the department, and assist other areas as required.

ELS: Continuously review current processes and seek improvement methods to enhance product and process quality, reduce waste, rework, and unnecessary work. Support safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Teamwork: Assist and support team members in achieving department and site goals. Participate in all tasks necessary to operate the facility, contribute to team decision-making, and support project work and special requests.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with the Global SOP and report discrepancies.
  • Monitor Quality KPIs such as CCR and COPQ for the entire site.
  • Develop quality improvement plans for outsourcing and supplier partners to meet standards.
  • Inspect materials, processes, and products to meet customer demands and quality standards.
  • Monitor and report on activities, processes, and procedures related to production.
  • Conduct periodic process checks to maintain quality standards.
  • Prepare, update, and implement quality management documents and procedures.
  • Respond to customer complaints and propose corrective actions.
  • Support process improvement projects to optimize critical process parameters and ensure stable, efficient quality processes.
  • Resolve issues or discrepancies promptly in the production flow.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in quality control.
  • Certified Auditor or Certified Quality Analyst preferred.
  • Experience with ISO 9001/2015 or other QMS standards preferred.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong auditing and statistical skills.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
