Are you looking for a challenging role that allows you to make a real impact? We are currently seeking an experienced Loss Prevention Assistant Manager to join our team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and safety of our guests and staff. This includes patrolling the premises, responding to emergencies, and conducting regular inspections to identify potential hazards.

As a Loss Prevention Assistant Manager, you will be the first point of contact for guests and employees in emergency situations. You will also be responsible for investigating incidents, completing reports, and maintaining confidentiality.

To be successful in this role, you will need strong communication skills, the ability to read and verify information, and the physical stamina to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods. You will also need to be able to lift, carry, push, and pull objects up to 50 pounds without assistance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patroldaily to secure rooms and assist guests with room access.
  • Conduct emergency response drills, physical hazard/safety inspections, investigations, interviews, and key control audits.
  • Monitor CCTV and alarm systems.
  • Authorize, monitor, and document access to secured areas.
  • Assist guests/employees during emergencies and respond to accidents, contacting EMS or administering first aid/CPR as required.
  • Gather information and complete reports, maintaining confidentiality.
  • Defuse disturbances and resolve safety hazards in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

Role Summary:

Lead Loss Prevention Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise loss prevention engineering activities across Oil & Gas projects.
  • Develop fire protection, gas detection, safety, and risk management philosophies.
  • Review and approve safety studies such as HAZID, HAZOP, QRA, FERA, and EERA.
  • Ensure compliance with ADNOC standards, client specifications, and international codes (NFPA, API, OSHA, etc.).
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to the loss prevention team.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and interface with clients/vendors.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical/Fire/Safety Engineering or equivalent.
  • 12–15 years of experience in loss prevention/safety design in the Oil & Gas industry.
  • ADNOC or Middle East project experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of fire protection design, risk assessments, and international safety codes.

Senior Loss Prevention Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed designs, reports, and layouts related to fire protection and safety systems.
  • Perform risk assessments, safety studies, and consequence modeling.
  • Support the Lead Engineer in reviewing deliverables, vendor documents, and safety studies.
  • Ensure compliance with ADNOC, client, and project-specific safety requirements.

  • Assist in preparing safety layouts, fire protection drawings, and engineering deliverables.
  • Conduct firewater demand calculations, hazard analysis, and safety equipment layouts.
  • Support senior/lead engineers in loss prevention studies and risk assessments.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with ADNOC standards and project specifications.
  • Coordinate with project teams for design updates and revisions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical/Fire/Safety Engineering.
  • 5–8 years of experience in loss prevention/safety design within Oil & Gas projects.

Qualifications:

  • Loss prevention / Fire protection engineering experience in areas such as:

Manages security/loss prevention operations on a daily basis. Areas of responsibilities include protection of property assets, employees, guests and property, accident and fire prevention and response. Ensures that all areas of the property are safe and secure. Maintains logs, certifications and documents required by law and Standard Operating Procedures. Strives to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction while maximizing the financial performance of the department.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in the security/loss prevention or related professional area.

OR

  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Criminal Justice or related major; 2 years experience in the security/loss prevention or related professional area.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

Managing Security/Loss Prevention Operations

  • Assists in the development and implementation of emergency procedures.

  • Conducts investigation of all losses of property assets and refers to proper management for disposition.

  • Deploys security staff to effectively monitor and protect property assets.

  • Comply with all Corporate Loss Prevention safety and security management guidelines and procedures.

  • Conduct periodic patrols of entire property and parking areas.

  • Recognize success across areas of responsibility.

  • Handles complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts, or otherwise negotiating with others.

  • Identifies and makes recommendations for minimizing physical hazards and unsafe work practices.

  • Implements action plans to monitor and control risk.

  • Maintains required reports and documentation regarding patrols of property and parking areas.

  • Provides means for obtaining necessary medical attention on a timely basis.

Leading Security/Loss Prevention Teams

  • Attends pre- and post-convention and weekly forecast meetings to understand group needs and gather critical information to communicate to Loss Prevention officers.

  • Celebrates successes by publicly recognizing the contributions of team members.

  • Communicates the importance of safety procedures, detailing procedure codes, ensuring employee understanding of safety codes, monitoring processes and procedures related to safety.

  • Encourages and builds mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.

  • Provides guidance and direction to subordinates, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance.

  • Completes proper documentation and reports all employee accident and general liability incidents to Claims Reporting Service.

  • Conducts hourly employee performance appraisals according to Standard Operating Procedures.

  • Complete disciplinary procedures and documentation according to Standard and Local Operating Procedures (SOPs and LSOPs) and support the Peer Review Process.

  • Administer property policies fairly and consistently.

  • Maintain first aid and CPR certifications required for Loss Prevention officers.

  • Handles guest problems and complaints.

  • Identifies the educational needs of others, developing formal educational or training programs or classes, and teaching or instructing others.

  • Provides services that are above and beyond for customer satisfaction and retention.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Analyzes information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
