Job Purpose
Lead CBD's security operations and manage incident response efforts. This role is critical in supporting the CISO office and ensuring the security and resilience of our IT infrastructure and protecting our bank's data and systems from cyber threats.
Principle Accountabilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the Security Operations Center (SOC) working across 1LoD & 2LoD security teams.
- Develop and implement security monitoring and incident detection strategies.
- Ensure the effective use of security tools and technologies to protect the bank's assets.
- Monitor security alerts and manage the response to potential security incidents.
- Support the CISO office Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities.
- Own the incident response plan to address security breaches and incidents.
- Lead the incident response team in investigating and resolving security incidents. (24/7 rota with leadership team)
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders during incident response activities.
- Conduct post-incident reviews and implement lessons learned to improve security measures.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of security incidents to relevant authorities and stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain a threat intelligence program to identify and analyze emerging threats.
- Collect, analyze, and disseminate threat intelligence to relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with external threat intelligence providers and industry peers to stay informed about the latest threats.
- Integrate threat intelligence into security operations and incident response processes.
- Provide actionable intelligence to enhance the bank's security posture and mitigate risks.
- Support risk assessments and vulnerability analysis to identify potential threats (ISMS/Projects/Change/Thematic).
- Support threat modelling as part of DevSecOps and other change activity.
Experience And Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in information security, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
- Experience with security architecture and design.
- Excellent understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS, UAE-specific regulations).
- Experience of Threat Modelling (MITRE , STRIDE, OWASP etc)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Proven ability to manage and lead a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

About the role
This position has security accountabilities within the EAST region (Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pac) to support the businesses to achieve their operational and commercial objectives across a complex regulated and high-security risk environment. This is the most senior security management position within the EAST Region and reports directly to the Head of CSI. This position has domestic and international security accountabilities within the EAST region. It leads the regional implementation of the Corporate Security Policy and Group Security Standards and the development and delivery of risk-based continuous improvement activities. This role includes direct and indirect functional management of regional security managers and additional security personnel. In addition to the regional responsibilities, this role is also accountable for ensuring Haleon group security standards are fit for purpose and will take the lead for specific security initiatives as directed by the Head of CSI.
Key responsibilities
Develops security strategy for the EAST region and ensures alignment with global security strategy and regional business needs.
Maintains a strong understanding of global risks and associated security regulations; identifies significant security risks related to the business operations; directs the design and implementation of programs to prevent and reduce loss of assets.
Ensures effective deployment of the strategy, security programs, and the security management system working through site leadership and regional/local security teams and in close coordination with the Senior Security Program Manager.
Responsible for the ongoing review and implementation of Haleon group supply chain security risks (transport and 3rd party locations) through development of group security standards, external assurance process, and accurate risk reporting. Close working coordination with Global Procurement, Insurance, and sector supply chain teams.
Responsible for indirect line management of regional security teams with a focus on right role, right people, technical development, capability building, and identification of talent for succession planning.
Works with regional business and security teams to ensure the security operational budget & capital expense projects operational requirements and procurement processes are met with the correct quality and that solutions are fit for purpose in line with the risk appetite and strategy.

Supports the Group Business Continuity Manager by delivering BC training and Crisis Management training to non-significant sites across the region.

Business partnering and consultative support to ensure that sites are aware of their security risks and development of cost-effective, commercially focused security solutions.
Conduct 2nd line of defense audits in accordance with the annual site assessment programme plan and ad-hoc assurance assignments as requested and follow up on open actions to ensure that sites are actively implementing mitigating activities.
Supports investigative and anti-counterfeit teams when appropriate and consults on security risk mitigation requirements.
Support the Senior Security Program Manager in the ongoing development and deployment across Haleon of risk-based security procedures and guidance documents.
Develop key liaisons with external agencies such as law enforcement, customs and excise, intelligence agencies, and industry groups to ensure that security threats to the business are known.
Qualifications and skills
Experience in security management from either a former public body (i.e. police, military) or from working within a security function in a commercial company.

Our Senior Manager ofSecurity Operations provides strategic leadership and operational oversight to safeguard Chalhoub Group's digital assets, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information and systems. This role is pivotal in developing, implementing, and maintaining a robust security operations framework that effectively detects, responds to, and mitigates cybersecurity threats.
What you'll be doing:
- Lead a team of cybersecurity professionals, managing cyber security technologies and strategic partnerships, and driving continuous improvements in cyber security practices, all while aligning security operations with the broader business objectives.
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing cybersecurity team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning. Set performance goals, conduct regular evaluations, and provide guidance to ensure the professional growth and development of team members.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy aligned with the Group’s business objectives and risk appetite. Stay abreast of emerging cybersecurity threats, technologies, and trends, and proactively adjust strategies to address evolving risks.
- Develop and manage the security operations KPIs, SLAs, and budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to support strategic initiatives.
- Drive the selection, implementation, and management of advanced cybersecurity technologies and tools to protect the Group’s digital assets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with Group requirements.
- Collaborate with Technology and business leaders to integrate cyber security into new and existing technology initiatives, ensuring that security is a key consideration in the design and implementation of systems.
- Manage the Security Operations Centre (SOC) to ensure continuous monitoring, detection, and response to cybersecurity incidents.
- Develop, manage & maintain the Group Cyber Security standards, playbooks and incident response plans.
- Lead the investigation of significant cybersecurity incidents, providing clear communication to executive leadership and stakeholders.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Proactive, driven leader with technical expertise and in-depth understanding of SOC SIEM SOAR.
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and regulations (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO 27001, GDPR).
- Proven experience in managing Cyber Security major incidents, simulations and developing and executing international cybersecurity strategies in a complex, multi-national organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
- Hands-on experience with a broad range of cybersecurity partnerships and technologies, including Next Gen SOC/SIEM, CASB, CSPB, DLP, firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and cloud security.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of Group.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA.

Job DescriptionThe Director of Security is responsible for overseeing all aspects of safety and security within the hotel premises, ensuring a safe environment for guests, colleagues, and assets. This role involves developing and implementing security policies, managing the security team, handling emergency procedures, and maintaining compliance with local regulations.
Develop and implement hotel-wide security and safety strategies, policies, and procedures.
Lead and manage the security team, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management.
Monitor and ensure effective patrolling of hotel premises, including guest areas, back-of-house, and perimeters.
Liaise with local law enforcement, civil defense, and other emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular risk assessments and update emergency response protocols accordingly.
Oversee the installation and maintenance of surveillance systems, access control, alarms, and fire protection systems.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, fire codes, and legal regulations.
Investigate and document all incidents, accidents, or unusual occurrences, and ensure timely reporting.
Coordinate and lead crisis management and emergency response drills and training.
Monitor and control the issuance and return of hotel keys and key cards.
Manage lost & found procedures and ensure proper documentation.
Provide security support for VIPs, special events, and high-profile guests.
Prepare and present security reports and analysis to hotel management.
Promote a culture of safety and security awareness across all departments.
Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum 5–7 years of security experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within a hotel or hospitality setting.
Strong knowledge of security and life safety systems, protocols, and risk management.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal abilities.
High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
Certification in First Aid, Fire Safety, or relevant security training is a plus.
Ability to remain calm and lead effectively in high-pressure situations.
