About the Role
In this position, you will:
Design Coordination & Documentation
- Review tender and IFC information models issued by consultants including 2D drawings, BIM models, and asset data in line with ISO19650 standards.
- Resolve design conflicts through effective communication and documentation (RFIs, CVIs, workshops).
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary information and ensure clarity across teams to avoid delays and misalignments.
- Assist the Design Coordinator in managing sub-contractor scope and technical reviews.
Technical Oversight
- Support the team in preparing, raising, and tracking RFIs and CVIs to ensure design clarity and contract compliance.
- Review subcontractor and direct work shop drawings to confirm alignment with specifications.
- Monitor and maintain the drawing delivery schedule, ensuring timely submissions and updates.
- Liaise with the Planning Department to align design deliverables with project timelines.
- Provide support to the Temporary Works Coordinator to ensure structural safety in all temporary works.
As-Built & Close-Out Support
- Manage redline/as-built processes, collecting site updates and coordinating with modelers to ensure accuracy in final drawings.
- Coordinate with the document control team to ensure proper submission and publishing of all documentation.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years' experience in a contractor's design office or a similar architectural role.
- A 4-year diploma or degree in Architecture (or equivalent qualification).
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and collaboration tools such as Revizto or Navisworks.
- Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office tools.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proactive, collaborative, and organized with strong attention to detail.

1 Mission

2 Line and Staff Relations
The Architect will report to the Senior Architect and or the Design manager in the building office and will work in coordination with other team members such as:
- ADPI staff:
- BIM Manager
Internal / External collaborators:
- Engineers of different trades within the practice as well as with Engineers in other practices.
- With partners and sub-consultants assigned for the projects in the most professional manner ensuring that minutes of meetings are done after every meeting and all exchanges are adequately documented.
3 Key Responsibilities
Design delivery:
- Be an active member of the design team in the delivery of a project from concept stage to project completion.
- Responsible for ensuring the design meets all relevant international codes and standard required for the project.
- Ensuring that all project deliverables (drawings, specifications etc) meet the contractual requirements.
- Responsible for ensuring that all project deliverables are fully coordinated technically across the different disciplines.
- Ensuring that works are fully coordinated with all sub-consultants.
- Deliverables for each stage are reviewed for quality before they are submitted to the Client(s).
- Act as the project's design coordinator and contribute (fully or partially) to the overall design management activities.
- Participate in meetings as required.
Documentation:
- All design deliverables are done according to the Company or the Client's standards and all relevant documentations are maintained for all deliverables.
Coordination:
- Coordinate works internally within all disciplines and ensure that the design is fully coordinated.
- Coordinate works with all external agencies involved, including stakeholders, sub-consultants and all approving agencies/authorities.
4 Profile Specifications – Minimum Requirements
- 5-10 years of total experience. Experience of working on large scale projects is a must; experience on aviation related projects would be an advantage
- Bachelor of Architecture / Master of Architecture Degree or equivalent
- Dubai Society of Engineers membership mandatory
- Abu Dhabi Engineering license mandatory
- International Accreditation (RIBA, AIA or equivalent) and Sustainability Certification (LEED, PQP or equivalent) are preferred
- Basic knowledge of Statutory Authorities requirements, knowledge of international codes and standards, regulations, and submission requirements
- Basic knowledge of Fire & Life Safety Principles and Sustainable Design principles
- Strong proficiency in Autocad and BIM (Revit)
- Knowledge of 3D rendering software and experience on Interior Design would be an advantage
- Presentation skills both written and verbal are essential to this role
