Project Director

The role entails leading a project team, defining key guidelines, allocating tasks, and motivating and monitoring internal and external resources to achieve all milestones.

You will provide performance feedback regarding allocated resources working on projects.

• Implement contract and claims management consistently in accordance with policies and contractual agreements.


• Validate and support adequate HSE measures are taken in respective project operations functions and maintain an HSE culture in the organization.


• Manage assigned resources for activities, assign tasks to team members, and supervise workload and work allocation within the team.


• Ensure appropriate competencies are developed and acquired within the team to support development and succession planning.


• Organize, staff, skill, and direct the area of responsibility properly. Guide, motivate, and develop direct and indirect employees with HR support.

Requirements



• Bachelor's degree in engineering and PMP certification for Project Director role.


• More than 5 years of experience as Project Director in similar industry.


• Able to demonstrate negotiation skills in interaction with internal and external customers.


• Thorough understanding of project contracts, consortiums, agreements, and Incoterms 2010.


• Ability to assess, propose, and implement solutions for rapid recovery of troubled or challenged projects.


• Must be self-motivated with high level of creativity.


• Must be familiar with and have practical experience with SAP, MS Project, MS Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams, and other software.


• Should have experience in dealing with cultural diversity in global business environment.


• Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required.

What does the role involve?

Our Hilti Outperformer - Finance Track is a 24-month graduate program where you are involved in a range of rotations at local and international level. We offer 2 different Finance Track options, each with their own exposure to our customer-focused business model as well as immersing you in the fundamentals of Hilti Finance, alongside strategic project assignments.
