• Work closely with Application Developers to design, test, implement, perfect and maintain efficient transactional and analytical data models

• Facilitate database backup and recovery as well as documenting and testing all backup and recovery procedures.

• Work as part of a team and provide 24x7 support
• Once created the database Backups, monitor those backups are being performed regularly. (SQL Server Agent)
• From time to time recover the databases to a specific point of time, as per the requests. (Database Backups and Recovery)
• Setup High-Availability as part Disaster Recovery Strategy for the Databases. (Failover Clustering, Database Mirroring, Log Shipping and Replication, Always on)
• Troubleshoot various problems that arise in a day-to-day work and fix the issues. (Monitoring SQL Server Error Logs and checking your email alert (if there is one configured))
• Monitoring and Performance Tuning; Physical Server Level, Database level (Database settings and options) and query tuning. (Creating and maintaining those Indexes, not performing database shrinking, memory settings, monitoring CPU usage and Disk I/O activity etc)
• Documenting major changes to the SQL Servers. (General)
• Apply Service Packs. (General)

• A university degree or equivalent relevant job experience.
• Deep functional expertise in SAP S/4 HANA FI and/or CO, plus experience in at least one additional module.
• Minimum 7 years (preferably international) SAP consulting experience.
• SAP DMLT tools and methodology, and data migration/conversion experience is a plus.

As a Services Architecture (Senior/Principal) Specialist (f/m/d) your job will involve working in a global team focusing on delivering international data transformation projects (System Landscape Transformation aka SLO and Transition to S/4 HANA using DMLTs tools and services).

Your main tasks are:

• Identify customers business needs and support the design and architecture of the appropriate solution proposal from the Data Management & Landscape Transformation (DMLT) portfolio.
• Conduct feasibility studies and system analyses supported by SAP DMLT technology and methodology.
• Lead and facilitate customers workshops and discussions to validate the best solution design for the customers requirements.
• Architect scalable and robust data migration/conversion solutions adhering to SAP best practices and financial industry standards.
• Support and/or lead the delivery of DMLT projects remotely and onsite in distributed regional and global teams.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with business analysts data engineers and developers to ensure smooth execution of FI/CO data migration and conversioninitiatives and projects.
• Provide deep expertise in SAP FI/CO data migration and conversion tools and technologies guiding the customer teams to make informed decisions.
• Develop and document precise technical specifications data mapping and transformation rules ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data migration/conversion processes proactively identifying and resolving technical issues.

YOUR PROFILE

• University degree (Bachelor/Master) or equivalent relevant job experience
• Deep functional expertise in SAP S/4 HANA FI and/or CO plus experience in at least one additional of the following modules is a must: FI-AA CO-PA CO-PS EC-PCA FSCM FI-CA)
• Minimum 7years (preferably international) SAP consulting experience; SAP DMLT tools and methodology and data migration/conversion experience is a plus
• Relevant SAP Technology experience SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) is a plus
