Job Title: Supply Chain Leader

We are seeking a highly experienced Supply Chain Leader to oversee end-to-end operations across the Middle East region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of supply chain plans.
• Monitor and evaluate inventory and distribution plans, adjusting activities as required to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Manage supplier performance, implementing improvements as needed.
• Conduct regular market visits to review supply chain performance.

Requirements:

• Minimum 8-10 years of pharmaceutical or healthcare supply chain experience.
• Experience managing complex supply chain operations in a regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end supply chain management, including procurement, distribution, and logistics.
• Expertise in cold chain management and compliance with pharmaceutical regulations in the Middle East.

Job Role Summary:

The Inventory Operations Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food inventory management process. Key responsibilities include calculating figures for food inventories, orders, and costs; maintaining accurate and organized records; posting invoices using computer programs; conducting regular inventory audits; completing requisition forms; and notifying supervisors of low stock levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Calculate precise figures for food inventories, orders, and costs
• Maintain clear and organized records to ensure all reports and invoices are filed and stored properly
• Post invoices using computer software
• Conduct regular inventory audits to determine inventory levels and needs
• Complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies
• Notify supervisor of low stock levels
• Verify and track received inventory and complete inventory reports and logs
• Reconcile shipping invoices and receiving reports to ensure count accuracy
• Receive, unload, and process deliveries
• Troubleshoot vendor delivery issues and oversee return process
• Adhere to food safety and handling policies and procedures across all food-related areas
• Monitor PAR levels for all food items to ensure proper levels

Job Opportunity:

A leading chemicals company is establishing a warehouse in the Jebel Ali Free Zone to enhance its service offering for customers in the region.

The warehouse will be managed by an external logistics provider.

1. Coordinating daily operations with the third-party warehouse operator
2. Organizing import documents from the US, Singapore, and Europe to JAFZA
3. Overseeing warehouse status activities, including receipt, processing, and reporting
4. Serving as the link between the supply/demand chain and the warehouse operator
5. Coordinating specific customer requirements, such as product labeling
6. Ensuring timely processing and coordination with internal stakeholders
7. Preparing delivery notes for shipments and liaising with warehouse staff
8. Verifying invoices and other relevant information
9. Preparing JAFZA documentation for each shipment leaving the free zone
10. Creating gate passes for employees to enter the free zone
11. Complying with internal health, safety, quality policies & procedures and JAFZA customs rules
12. Supporting account managers with sample logistics

• Fluent English and Arabic language skills
• Working knowledge of international logistics processes
• 2-5 years' experience working in a UAE Free Zone
• Proficiency in MS Office and SAP or another ERP system

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the overall supply chain operation in the UAE
• Work with the Market Director and the sales team in driving the market potential of the business through execution of a world-class customer order management process
• Manage direct customers from a supply chain perspective
• Ensure the accuracy of supply forecasts and the efficiency of customer service and logistics operations
• Represent the Supply Chain Function in Demand Management Reviews
• Develop and deliver continuous improvement initiatives on SAP systems

Requirements:

• Degree-level education
• At least 5-8 years' experience in supply chain operations within the FMCG industry
• Working knowledge of SAP systems
• Strong people management and leadership skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Customer-focused and results-driven
