About the job Tax Associate Energy SectorKey accountabilities
  • Compiling / preparing the Corporate Income Tax (CIT) return, Value Added Tax (VAT) and Economic Substance Requirement (ESR) return for UAE group entities and ensuring filing the same with the Federal Tax Authority within the applicable due date along with payments (if any)
  • Supporting internal departments with the tax queries (including review of draft invoices, documents, etc.)
  • Critical review of the Petroleum / Corporate Income Tax or any other tax return of overseas jurisdiction prepared by local teams or consultants
  • Prepare tax provisions schedules, returns, payments and reports.
  • Research and analyze tax issues and provide practical solutions
  • Assist with tax planning and advisory projects, such as mergers and acquisitions, cross-border transactions, transfer pricing, and tax incentives.
  • Handle correspondence and liaise with regulatory/government tax authorities to ensure all reporting/requirements are met.
  • Keep abreast of the latest tax developments and regulations in the oil and gas/energy sector and the middle east region.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members and other service lines.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • A professional qualification in tax, such as CA, CPA, ACCA, CTA, or equivalent.
  • At least two - three years of relevant tax experience in the oil and gas/energy sector, preferably in a public accounting firm.
  • Strong knowledge of the tax laws and regulations in the middle east region, especially the UAE.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

We are seeking an Electrical Power Pro Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, modifying, and repairing electrical power generating and control systems, automatic transfer switches, and associated equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair electrical power generating and control systems, automatic transfer switches, and associated equipment
  • Perform scheduled periodic maintenance on systems and components
  • Adjust generator systems to maintain proper voltage, current frequency, and or synchronization
  • Identify and repair generator malfunctions by removing, repairing, and or replacing defective power generating components

Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Minimum 12 years of experience in power generation and/or water desalination, with at least 2-4 years in a managerial position, focusing on development of power and water generation projects, preferably in a diverse/multicultural business industry, multi-national company, or energy/utility sector.

What you will need to do:

  • Lead an established team of Section Heads and Engineers to secure the completion of the project within time and budget.
  • Manage direct multi-faceted construction activities, including subcontractors and personnel.
  • Ensure all construction activities are performed safely and in compliance with applicable policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients and take responsibility for ensuring customer satisfaction for construction and completions activities.
  • Provide Construction support to Project Management during the initial planning phase of the project.
  • Participate in Constructability and 3D model review sessions.
  • Build and manage effective Construction teams.
  • Ensure all construction activities are performed in accordance with project specifications and drawings, within budget and time schedules.
  • Maintain effective communication and report the status of construction progress to the project team.
  • Manage the RFI and change order process in the field.
  • Assist with the preparation of change orders.
  • Maintain excellent project records and documentation of delays and other potential project impacts.
  • Maintain detailed, accurate, and complete documentation of construction activities.

What you will need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering / Master's Degree (Optional but Beneficial).
  • Certified Construction Manager (CCM) / Project Management Professional (PMP).
  • Relevance of experience in Rotating & Static Equipment Installation and strong understanding of Oil & Gas operations (Brown Field).
  • Minimum of 20-25 years of experience with at least 10 years in a managerial role with a focus on Oil & Gas Projects in the Middle East.
  • Having previous experience with ADNOC projects (ADNOC approval is an advantage).
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale projects.
