This role is primarily responsible for managing tax compliances for a Group operations consisting of businesses under Real Estate, Hospitality, Retail, Entertainment etc.
Key Responsibilities- Corporate Tax & BEPS/Pillar II
- Managing all tax registrations and deregistration for required entities on the tax authority portal.
- Preparing tax return with complete reconciliation and backup data and audit pack to complete the tax compliance.
- Providing supporting documents to a Tax Consultant and answering queries.
- Processing timely Tax Payments.
- Correcting adjustments in oracle after reconciliation of Tax returns.
- Arranging documents required by the tax authority during FTA audit and assisting the Tax team to answer queries.
- Generating tax reports and analyzing source transactions.
- Providing comments for variances and discrepancies between tax working and GL accounts.
- Detailed review of accounting transactions nature and ensuring correctness of Tax returns work papers and reports.
- Filing Tax returns via FTA portal and providing summary to the Business Management team.
- Economic Substance Requirement
- Managing ESR compliances (ESR Notification, report) for all entities of UAE, Bahrain, BVI for Country by Country Reporting.
- Managing CbCR, CBC Notification compliances for the group.
- Managing master file compliance for the Group.
- Qualified CA/CPA.
- Minimum 6 to 8 years in similar or related role, preferably with real-estate background.
- Good MS Office skills especially in Excel.
- Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong numerical analytical skills.
- Hands-on experience of working on an ERP system (Oracle EBS/Fusion preferred).
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Ability to work under pressure under tight deadlines.
- Ability to work extra hours if required to meet deadline.
