The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing facade projects from conception through completion, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop comprehensive project plans to align with client objectives.
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with architects and engineering teams to maintain design intent.
- Manage stakeholder relationships and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor progress and identify potential challenges proactively.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and provide direction to site teams and contractors.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent project management skills, including proficiency in project management software, as well as strong knowledge of facade materials, design principles, and construction techniques.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in project management with a focus on facade projects.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large, complex facade projects.
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to navigate challenging project dynamics and deliver results under pressure.

Job Description
Role Overview:The Role is a dynamic position that involves a balanced focus on both internal and external responsibilities (50/50). The role is based in the Dubai South office and is pivotal in driving efficiency in pre-contract delivery and market leading digital solutions regionally. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving the efficient and effective use of existing digital tools (CostX BIM Power BI) influencing key stakeholders contributing to DTB (Design To Budget) initiatives across BP and fostering a culture of learning and coaching. Additionally the role will involve engagement with the global technical and digital leads and ideally incorporate AI development.
Key Responsibilities (50% Internal Focus):
Efficiency of Delivery and Digital Solutions:
- Lead initiatives to enhance the efficiency of project delivery particularly in Measurement Cost Planning and BoQ generation.
- Implement and optimize solutions to develop clear processes and improve outcomes
- Contribute to the implementation & use of GUIDE including streamlining regional usage training etc.
Expanding Influence Over Time:
- Act as a technical expert within the organization starting with driving standards in the Dubai South team other UAE pre-contract teams and moving onto the wider regional business and other supporting functions over time i.e. EC and PCC India.
DTB Input:
- Develop efficient solutions to providing Design to Budget obligations on Design Appointments supporting the organizations digital transformation goals.
Training and Coaching:
- Develop and refine training material train and coach team members increasing their capabilities in this area. Liaise with UK and global SMEs i.e. Andrew Edwards and Karen Wood to ensure consistency.
- Create and maintain a supportive and collaborative learning environment.
AI Development:
- Guide and contribute to AI development projects ensuring the integration of cutting-edge technologies to enhance business operations.
Key Responsibilities (50% External Focus):
Client Technical Delivery:
- Lead pre-contract cost management delivery on projects with support from appropriate teams in the UAE
- Implement and lead by example by using solutions developed above.
- Strategic:
- Assist and/or lead proposals and bids
- Assist in building a strong backlog / pipeline with a key focus on repeat work from quality delivery
- Develop and maintain good relationships with Clients
Qualifications :
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years experience in this field
- Must have pre-contract experience within a consultancy
- Must have extensive exposure to Cost Planning at all stages.
- RICS membership.
- Experience in operational aspects of a business is beneficial.
- Must have a QS or Engineering or similar degree.
