We are looking for a qualified Technical Manager to oversee and own a portfolio of customer accounts.

As part of a Customer Success Team you will work with the Customer Success Manager and Delivery Manager on multiple accounts to ensure that customers are successful in their digital transformation journey.

You are the key technical contact and advisor to our customers throughout their journey of implementing the Backbase platform.

As a Technical Manager, you should be a tech-savvy professional, able to explain technical details and requirements to a non-technical audience. You can hold your own in a technical discussion with developers as much as you can in a boardroom with a CIO.

You should be able to provide technical, product, and business knowledge to ensure successful implementations of the Backbase platform and build lasting customer relationships.

What you'll do
  • Use your technical and product expertise to define and drive our clients’ overall technical strategy;
  • Address all product-related queries on time with your product expertise and engaging different stakeholders within the Backbase organisation;
  • Travel to clients and build strong relationships with key stakeholders. You will be working closely with lead architects and C-level executives in our customers;
  • Become an internal advocate of the client and bring the voice of the customer into the rest of the Backbase organization;
  • You identify opportunities for the customer to have better product adoption, provide guidance on best practices for custom components, and help the client align their requirements with our R&D roadmap;
  • Work with our R&D organisation to provide customers' feedback and help identify potential new features or products (both on the functional and technical levels);
  • Analyse customers’ needs and suggest upgrades or additional features to meet their requirements;
  • Collaborate closely with the Technical Support, Product Engineering, and Project Implementation teams at Backbase to ensure successful implementations of the Backbase product.
Who you are
  • Overall experience of 10+ years and 5 years of management experience with solid technical background;
  • You have excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, particularly in conveying technical concepts in a way that is easy for an audience of various technical skills to understand;
  • You have a solid technical background with hands-on experience building and designing enterprise software. Experience with digital transformation projects in financial institutions are a plus;
  • You have experience with most of our technology stack: Java, Spring, Maven, Gradle, Angular, Kotlin, Cloud Deployments, Docker, Kubernetes and Swift; Having a cloud certification (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect) is a plus;
  • You are an advocate for Agile methodologies and are able to explain its pros and cons to steer stakeholders in the right direction;
  • You hold a BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science or relevant field;

**Job Description**
**Roles and Responsibilities**
+ Responsible for the overall technical coordination and management during the tendering phase of HVDC project.
+ Serve as the primary contact for the Customer and is accountable for working with the tender team to develop of the best technical solutions.
+ Responsible for ensuring the technical tender design meets deadlines and quality standards.
+ Coordinate and manage the global schedule of tender engineering activities, ensure the implementation of Engineering Processes, and oversee technical coordination across the various work packages of large or complex projects.
+ Provide technical solutions are selected (safe, reliable, cost-effective, easy to install, and operate) in line with customer expectations, while delivering the necessary documentation according to the tender general time schedule

**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university Proficiency in English is required, while Arabic or other language skills are a plus
+ Minimum 10 years experience in HVDC system, FACTS, industrial, renewable.
+ Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a team environment.
+ Strong team management skills and accountable for team results in order to deliver a high-quality product on time and under budget.
+ Ability and willingness to travel 20% of the time, including international, and must comply with all relevant company travel and tax policies.

+ Confirms venue partners process all payments to Encore in a timely basis.
**Operations Management**
+ Perform daily floor operations including scheduling and equipment setups, operation, and strikes. Assist on the floor as needed.
+ Ensure that all equipment and services are delivered on time, in good working condition and as specified by clients and the venue, and in accordance to brand standards.
+ Anticipate equipment challenges and changes in a timely and professional manner.
+ Use inventory control procedures to maintain proper inventory levels while also maintaining safety, security, and quality assurance of equipment.
+ **See the Big Picture** by efficiently sharing labour and equipment within the local market.
+ Attend all operational venue meetings such as daily stand up meetings with venue operations staff.
+ In collaboration with the Health and Safety Manager and the Area Manager, ensure that all HSE guidelines are properly implemented.
+ Promote a healthy and safe working environment at all times, and provide feedback to the Health and Safety Manager on all HSE issues at the venue.
**Sales Management**
+ Work with regional sales teams to create effective sales strategies to maximise revenue per-event for assigned customers including upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
**· Prepare and deliver compelling presentations that convey the value of Encore and effectively solve customer challenges.**
+ Effectively prepare and present quotes and proposals in a timely manner to customers, including those submitted through the website, venue booking system, or other sources as assigned.
**· Attend site visits, pre-conference planning meetings, and appropriate venue meetings as necessary to support the customer event experience.**
**· Collaborate with vendors and other departments/divisions of the company to capture and service events.**
**· Understand event cost structure and incorporate into solution designs according to established profitability guidelines.**
+ Attend customer meetings, understanding their goals and responding to their questions, concerns, and challenges.
+ **Do the Right Thing** by ensuring all customer information is up to date and accurate in the Customer Relationship Management system (CRM) at all times.
**· Maintain knowledge of new product/service offerings and emerging technology supporting meetings and events**
**· Create and present information and reports, as needed, to senior management related to performance, pipeline, forecasting, etc.**
**Customer Service**
+ **Deliver World-Class Service** by cultivating and maintaining relationships with customers, venue personnel and various Encore supporting functions and departments.
+ Position will have oversight to personnel to assist with event execution.
+ Exceed the expectations and needs of internal and external customers.
+ Meet with guests on site to confirm that their needs are met and the equipment setup is accurate and working properly.
+ Monitor small to medium size events and check in on customers throughout the day.
+ Enforce the guidelines in the Employee Guide and/or venue standards for the team to portray a polished and professional image.
**Technical Ability**
+ Understand and oversees the technical aspects of the job and applies basic to advanced troubleshooting and problem solving skills to guide technicians in resolving equipment and software issues in a timely and professional manner.
+ Effectively utilises applicable company computer systems.
+ Act as on-site technical expert as needed for events.
+ Assist on the floor with operations as needed.
**People Development**

+ Manage performance, addresses employee concerns, maintains adequate staffing levels, and facilitates team development.

Job Summary:

The Technical Project Manager is main responsibility is to manage and execute tasks and projects assigned to them by the Director of Quality & Technical Excellence. The tasks will relate to design and consultancy projects, Field work, and Sales. This will include project supervision, standard audits, systems commissioning and calibration, and on/off site coordination.

· Follow up on tasks and projects assigned by the Director of Quality & Technical Excellence

· Constant research and learning in the field

· Support dealers with technical know-how and site supervision

· Coordination with project teams setting up and executing projects

· Setup and configure different systems ranging from Network to Audio Distribution to Control

· Assist project managers regarding design and documentation issues

· Perform periodical reviews/audits, of operations and running projects

· Perform Audio and Video Calibration of high-performance entertainment spaces

· Track and report progress to relevant stakeholders

· Ensure proper documentation of all tasks and issues

Education Requirements :

· Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Work Experience Requirements :

· Home Automation implementation experience

· Audio/Video related experience (pro and residential)

Required Credentials, Certifications and Qualifications

Required Experience

· 5 years or more experience within the residential systems integration industry

Required Technical and Job Knowledge

· Field and theoretical experience in Home technology & Home Cinema

· Experience in light control

· Experience in leading teams of up to 10 members

· Experience in simple home networks configuration

· Experience in Project Management. PMP Certification is a plus

· Experience with musical instruments and/or music production is a plus
