JOB SUMMARY
Marriott International is seeking an experienced and passionate brand marketeer for the role of Director overseeing The Ritz-Carlton Ritz-Carlton Reserve and St. Regis brands in the MEA region. This is a 6-month maternity cover contract running from mid-September 2025 to mid-March 2026.
The position is responsible for the pull-through of Luxury Brand initiatives and brand marketing campaigns for The Ritz-Carlton Ritz-Carlton Reserve and St. Regis across Middle East & Africa. The role will have primary focus in four key areas:
This role is part of the EMEA Luxury Brand team reports to the Vice President Luxury Brands MEA. The role collaborates closely with Global Continent and property stakeholders.
The position requires excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills as the role will work cross-functionally with leaders across both EMEA and HQ in Marketing Brand Loyalty Partnerships Digital and PR Comms. The role will also collaborate closely with the Regional Commercial teams and Agency Partners including Creative and Paid Media.
SCOPE
- Develops oversees and delivers global and EMEA Luxury Brands strategy for The Ritz-Carlton Ritz-Carlton Reserve and St. Regis within MEA including brand programs initiatives partnerships activations and performance
- Brand Marketing
- Partner with Senior Director Luxury Marketing on developing brand marketing strategy forThe Ritz-Carlton The Ritz-Carlton Reserve and St Regis in MEA that drives meaningful performance.
- Execute integrated targeted marketing campaigns to driveThe Ritz-Carlton The Ritz-Carlton Reserve and St Regis in MEA awareness and affinity in the continent support business goals and drive portfolio growth (e.g. resorts urban leisure family suites etc.)
- Drives brand activations in key source markets in continent.
- Responsible for communicating campaign achievements and reporting to key stakeholders.
- Partner with the photography team to develop on-brand content.
- Partner with the Continent Luxury Communications team on PR-driven brand events.
- Responsible for identifying developing and managing brand partnerships in continent that provide brand equity benefits and enhance the guest experience.
- Provide opening brand support for new hotels joining the brand withinThe Ritz-Carlton Ritz-Carlton Reserve and St. Regis in MEA.
- On-Strategy Portfolio Growth
- Provides guidance on areas of experience programming which connect to design and guest experience (sensory experience elements look books) and engages with the ADOPs/hotels to execute.
- Supports Development as needed in immersing prospective new owners into the brand its strategies and positioning.
- Partner with Senior Director Portfolio Growth MEA and continent Global Design Development and other Lodging Product teams to ensure alignment on design guest experience spa and F&B concepts for potential opportunities.
- Brand Management
- Works closely with properties and Continent Operations to ensure on-brand implementation of brand operating standards procedures and brand operations-driven programs.
- Monitors brand performance and develops appropriate actions in collaboration with relevant cross-functional teams to achieve the brand and Continent objectives.
- Supports the effective pull-through and localization of new brand initiatives in MEA.
- Provides support on hotel openings and conversions including Countdowns to ensure implementation of branded elements while tracking progress alongside relevant disciplines (Guest Experience L&D).
- Provides input and support on projects for off-strategy hotels.
- Lead and facilitate Brand Immersion sessions and GM Quarterly Webinars to drive brand engagement alignment and strategic communication across key stakeholders.
- Acts as a key liaison between Brand and Operations to support alignment and integration between the functions on branded guest experience service and culture work and pilots.
- Collaborates with Global Brand and Continent Operations on brand pilots (proof of concepts) in the Continent; provides brand feedback and support.
- Luxury Group Alignment
- Act as point of contact for HQ Luxury Group leaders providing MEA lens on luxury brand strategy forThe Ritz-Carlton Ritz-Carlton Reserve and St. Regis.
- Act as a trusted counsellor and engage in broad-based branding discussions and initiatives in MEA

CANDIDATE PROFILE
- 10 years of work experience to include hotel operations brand marketing and/or luxury brand experience
- University degree preferred.
- Proven track record working with senior executives in a consultative manner.
- Consistent track record of advancing business direction and strategies.
- Experience in EMEA markets preferred.
- Language requirements: High proficiency in English is required.

About The Role
• Run daily activities, reporting and operations of the Front Desk (such as check-in, credit limit, check-out, etc.). With experience in a high-quality luxury hotel/resort guest service, the Guest Service Executive will offer the highest level of customer service. Guest Service Executive supports all property operations, ensuring that the highest levels of hospitality and service are provided. Agent, Front Office manages the flow of questions and directs guests within the lobby, as well as support the tracking and resolution of service issues.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Encourage and build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
• Demonstrate appropriate behaviours.
• Maintain a strong working relationship with all departments to support property operations and goals and to expedite the resolution of any problems that may arise through the general operation of the property.
• Provide information to supervisors, co-workers, by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
• Provide services for customer satisfaction and retention.
• Support handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts and reporting to manager, or otherwise negotiating with others.
• Provide immediate assistance to guests.
• Interact with customers on a regular basis throughout the property to obtain feedback on quality of product, service levels and overall satisfaction.
• Record guest issues in the guest response tracking system.
• Always follow LQA Standards related to FD operations.
• Focus on guest satisfaction and focus on continuous improvement.
• Analyse information and evaluate results in order to choose the best solution and solve problems.
• Support day-to-day operations, ensuring the quality, standards and meeting the expectations of the customers daily.
• Ensure compliance with all policies, standards and procedures.

• Credit control procedures are strictly adhered to, that no bills exceed the stipulated limit without prior approval from the FOH Manager or Director of Rooms.
• Ensure compliance with all policies, standards and procedures.
• Maximum room occupancy and yield is ensured in line with the standards policy on rates.
• Daily check of arrival list, making sure all rooms are assigned according to category booked and guest preferences.
• Close communication is maintained with the housekeeping department on check-outs, room moves, forecast occupancies.
• All charges are correctly entered onto the guest’s folio and that this is always kept up to date.
• The float, cash and credit card takings for the shift are balanced and the necessary cashier reports completed. Declares any overage or shortage on this report.
• To be very meticulous in completing the daily checklist and check that it has been done during shift handover.
• To assist with any other duties as required by the Manager or another member of the management team.
Experience & Educational Requirements
• Hotel Management graduate or Front Office operations certification
• 1 year in a similar position in a five-star hotel
• Previous experience in a customer service function

- Registers all outpatients upon arrival as per policy.
- Identification of patient valid documents i.e., EID or Passport.
- Checking eligibility for insurance approval.
- Schedules, reschedules, cancels, and confirms outpatient and medical services as required.
- Initiates accurate process to complete the patient’s registration (insurance or self-paying).
- Collects payment, i.e., cash, deductibles, co-insurance, and copayment as per insurance and/or SOB’s (from online insurance portals) service wise.
- Coordinates with nursing and other departments to resolve patient’s queries.
- Informs patients when there are delays for diagnostic or treatment services.
- Directs patients to appropriate clinics/areas.
- Submits documents related to cash collection and refunds to Chief Cashier.
- Maintains records for any authentication for services for any patient(s) given by higher officials. Report to be forwarded to Billing Supervisor.
- Reconciliation of daily cash and credit card collection to be completed before closing. Excess or short in collection to be reported to Chief Cashier.
- Cash collection according to the individual collection report must be deposited in the Main Cash Box.
- Coordinates with the clinic and service providing units for rectification of documents and reports requested by the Back Office - Claims Submission Team.
- Assists in training of new employees as directed by supervisor.
- Knowledge of insurance protocols.
- Coordinates with insurance department and clinic for preauthorization of services.
