Required Experience: Intern

We are seeking a highly skilled and courteous Bellman to join our team. As a Bellman, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service by welcoming guests, assisting with luggage, and ensuring their overall experience is seamless.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests and assist in/out of vehicles by opening doors in a gracious and courteous manner.
• Inform guests of vehicle parking procedures, if necessary, and direct Valet Parkers accordingly.
• Attend review of daily event sheet with Bell Captain and be familiar with regular guests.
• Be knowledgeable about hotel facilities, updated on activities, promotions and happenings in the hotel/city to provide accurate information.
• Assist Valet Parkers in issuing valet ticket to guests.
• Direct flow of traffic at hotel driveways ensuring maximum safety.
• Coordinate with security for the strict implementation of safety procedures.
• Handle guests' luggage promptly and professionally, using safe handling techniques.
• Deputize for Bellmen when necessary in retrieving/loading guest items from cars, buses, vans and carts.
• Grasp, lift, carry and/or load luggage and packages onto a bell cart to transport items to hotel lobby.
• Ensure that all luggage's are retrieved and loaded/unloaded on to/from correct vehicle with guest. Always re-confirm with guests that correct number of luggage had been loaded/unloaded before allowing the vehicle to move.
• Respond to queries positively.
• Follow department policies, procedures and service standards, including all safety policies.
• Report 'Lost & Found' items.
• Perform other duties as assigned and requested.

This is an opportunity to excel as a Guest Services Director in our luxury hotel, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of guest satisfaction.

• Oversee and coordinate the Concierge, Bell Desk, and Transportation services to guarantee seamless and professional interactions with guests.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for guests, providing tailored recommendations and handling special requests such as restaurant bookings, yacht charters, private tours, event tickets, and more.

• Maintain exceptional service standards in alignment with our luxury brand values, fostering a culture of excellence within the team.

• Collaborate closely with internal departments (Housekeeping, Food and Beverage, Reservations, Security) to ensure prompt and accurate fulfillment of guest requests.

• Nurture and maintain strong relationships with local partners, luxury service providers, and tourism contacts to deliver VIP-level experiences for our discerning guests.

• Monitor guest feedback and address any issues swiftly to guarantee complete satisfaction.

• Support in training, mentoring, and scheduling concierge staff, emphasizing the importance of professional grooming, product knowledge, and etiquette.

• Assume the role of Chief Concierge when needed, ensuring continuity in guest service and maintaining high standards.

• Manage and maintain a comprehensive concierge database, ensuring that information on maps, menus, events, attractions, and other relevant details remains up-to-date and accessible.

• Assist in managing luggage delivery/storage, transportation requests, valet parking, and other guest-facing logistics to provide a seamless experience.

• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a luxury hotel in a concierge or guest services leadership role.

• Strong knowledge of Dubai and surrounding areas, including access to VIP contacts and services.

• Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages (especially French, Arabic, or Russian) are highly valued.

• A polished appearance and professional demeanor, aligned with luxury brand standards.

• Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office.

• Membership in Les Clefs d'Or (preferred but not mandatory).
