The candidate will have a strong background in date palm cultivation and experience in pruning, fertilization, pest control, and irrigation techniques. The hardening of the tissue culture date palm plantlets and its supervision, soil preparation for date palms plantlets at different stages, fertilization, disease control, monitoring of growth at different stages, and timely transplantation of plantlets are required. The successful candidate will supervise irrigation, schedule fertilization and irrigation cycles, and coordinate with the team on planting and transplanting activities. They will also provide training to team members on date palm tree care and maintenance and monitor greenhouse growing conditions.
Responsibilities- Hardening of tissue culture date palm plantlets and supervision.
