Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Production Controller to join our team. As a key member of the maintenance planning and records function, you will be responsible for monitoring, verifying and controlling the documentation of all heavy / base maintenance checks and work packages ensuring they are timely and adequately executed in line with agreed maintenance plans and in adherence to adopted procedures manual and CAMO requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Document Control and Verification: Carries out necessary document control and verification of all the heavy maintenance tasks and work packages documentation received from the Maintenance Planning ensuring they are prepared, distributed and displayed on the action board.
  • Awareness of Relevant TPM: Ensures proper awareness of relevant TPM MOE Manual procedures for Production Control in all checks executed, this includes A-checks, C-checks, Engine and APU change checks.
  • Maintenance Cards Distribution: Distributes the planned maintenance cards in the Control Docks maintaining proper sequence and order in the display.
  • Additional Maintenance Tasks: Processes, prioritizes, distributes and ensures the proper execution of any additional maintenance cards resulting from the inspection (Pre-docking, ship-shop-ship/ inspection/ routine/clean/lube/servicing/final inspection).
  • Maintenance Work Progress: Monitors the maintenance work progress continuously to ensure smooth workflow; reports to the Supervisor -Maintenance Planning & Records any delay or deviation from the planned flow chart and implements corrective measures accordingly.
  • Routine Maintenance Tasks: Raises non-routine maintenance cards for all defects incoming from the Crew and recorded in the Technical Log Book/Cabin Log; follows up on the proper action as per adopted procedures.
  • Deferred Defects Handling: Handles all entries related to the deferred defects in the RAL system; efficiently compiles and submits debrief report on aircraft departure.
  • Man-hours Booking and Roster: Monitors the man-hours booking and roster prepared and communicated by the Planning Engineer versus the actual man-hours logged for each aircraft to ensure compatibility and report any variations or changes accordingly.
  • Certification and Record Keeping: Reviews the documents of all completed tasks received from the Engineers against the original pre-documentation approved to identify any variations or discrepancies prior to issuing associated certification.
  • Materials and Tools Shortages: Prepares list of all the materials/tools shortages; communicates to Technical Procurement for proper action and follows up on status till necessary items are received and handed to concerned personnel.
  • Ad-hoc Requirements: Coordinates with the Technical Procurement regarding ad-hoc requirements in case of AOG.
  • Component Changes Documentation: Prepares updated records sheets to document all component changes for each hangar input; continuously updates and maintains the necessary records till the checks are successfully completed.
  • Next Planning Coordination: Coordinates with MCC and Line Maintenance on the next planning to allow the serviced aircraft proceed accordingly prior to confirming release.
  • Work Packages and Records Completion: Forwards the completed work packages to the Maintenance Planning team and the records to the Technical Records team upon the completion of maintenance tasks, and the departure of the aircraft, as per adopted procedures and in line with approved standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Educational Qualifications: Bachelor degree in Aircraft Engineering/Aeronautical/Electro-Mechanical or equivalent; alternately a higher diploma or certificate a relating from a recognized university or engineering college combined with needed experience and exposure.
  • Training Certificates: Training certificates or workshops on Human Factor are highly desirable.
  • Quality Assurance Authorization: Able to obtain necessary Quality Assurance Authorization for the related function.
  • Project Management Certificate: Project Management certificate or alternately the proven corresponding working experience.
  • Cost Control and Compliance: Cost Control, Compliance, Budgeting and Quality Assurance certificates and trainings are an added value and some may be treated as conditional for this role.
  • Technology Systems and Tools: Capable of using technology systems & tools; proficient in Microsoft suite.
  • Communication Skills: Very good written and verbal communication skills: reporting, presentations, etc.
  • Language Fluency: Fluent in English Language.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Ensuring the safety, security, wellbeing and general comfort of passengers, in accordance with the GCAA regulation and provisions of the Air Arabia Operations Manual and Air Arabia Human Resources policies and procedures.
  2. Identifies situations where the safety, well-being and general comfort of passengers is at risk and takes remedial action, notifying Senior Cabin Crew accordingly.
  3. Carries out the duties of 'Senior Cabin Crew' when designated as such by the Captain.
  4. Instructs individual passengers on issues to ensure their safety and comfort, bringing difficulties to the attention of Senior Cabin Crew.
  5. Attends to the needs of individual passengers, watching for and identifying passengers experiencing stress or difficulties of any kind and attempting to alleviate their condition, engaging the assistance of other cabin crew if required.
  6. Attending to the requests of individual passengers, meeting their demands in accordance with the policies and procedures for providing services as detailed in the Operations Manual and other relevant instructions.
  7. Accounts to Senior Cabin Crew for the conduct of passengers and assists in ensuring cabin safety in accordance with emergency procedures as specified in the Operations Manual.
  8. Informs Senior Cabin Crew, Flight Crew and Captain, as appropriate, of irregularities and malfunctions.
  9. Checks emergency equipment, catering equipment and other specified equipment reporting deficiencies to Senior Cabin Crew and/or Captain as appropriate.
  10. Helps to ensure the aircraft cabin is cleaned thoroughly at transit stations.
  11. Helps to ensure adequate re-catering is provided before flying.
  12. After flights, assists in the completion of documentation. Assists in the closing and sealing of containers with duty free items in accordance with instructions.
  13. Assists in ensuring orderly and complete handover/takeover when handing/taking over the cabin from catering, cleaning or maintenance personnel.
  14. Attend all mandatory safety and emergency procedure training and to achieve the required pass mark.
  15. Be able to carry out all in flight emergencies.

Desired Profile

A Higher Secondary education with good pass results is essential, along with good English language command. An appropriate cabin crew certificate is essential. Training in first aid is essential – a formal qualification is an advantage. This is not essential, because we are training non-experience crew. Must be an Arabic speaker.

Job Purpose

Nominated by Air Arabia, the Lead Airworthiness Auditor shall monitor and verify all activities in the areas of Airworthiness, Maintenance, Ground Operations, Safety, Quality, and Security. The role ensures these activities are carried out under the supervision of the relevant "Nominated Post Holder" in compliance with Air Arabia Group policies, third-party Regulatory Bodies' requirements, and adopted standards such as IOSA.

Key Result Responsibilities

  1. Assist the Head of Operational Audit to ensure compliance with all applicable Airworthiness, Maintenance, Ground Operations, Quality, Safety, and Security regulatory requirements across Air Arabia Group.
  2. Partner with stakeholders to facilitate and support the deployment of QSS-related policies across hubs, including systems, investigation processes, regulatory compliance, and operational readiness. Identify deviations and create action plans for harmonization.
  3. Develop and implement an annual audit plan for all company hubs.
  4. Assess all hubs for conformance against IOSA ISARPS.
  5. Stay updated with local and international legislation, regulations, guidelines, and practices related to the aviation industry.
  6. Advise on projects, operational procedure changes, and new initiatives as assigned by the line manager.
  7. Conduct assessments for the SMS to identify hazards and risks, evaluate overall status, and set preventive and corrective measures. Ensure timely actions.
  8. Follow up on the closure of related findings with adequate CAPA.
  9. Ensure safety manuals, risk registers, and documentation are reviewed and updated regularly and in line with departmental procedures.
  10. Ensure operations, policies, procedures, and internal rules comply with conditions and restrictions of the AOC & OPS SPECS, maintenance approvals, applicable regulatory requirements, and standards set by Air Arabia Group (IOSA).
  11. Monitor the annual audit and inspection plan, identify non-conformities, and propose corrective actions. Ensure timely and effective implementation.
  12. Advise the Head of Operational Audit on quality, security, and safety matters, supporting with assessments and participating in management review boards.
  13. Participate in developing and implementing group policies and procedures.
  14. Monitor and address safety and security concerns, ensuring investigations and resolutions are in compliance with Air Arabia's programs.
  15. Conduct periodic health checks of management systems across hubs.
  16. Share lessons learned in Safety, Quality, and Security with all hubs.
  17. Monitor SPI and SPT metrics for each department in each hub.
  18. Review aviation service agreements and interface procedures.
  19. Monitor SAFA ratios at each hub and recommend improvements where necessary.

Qualifications (Academic, training, languages)

  • Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License and/or a Bachelor's degree in Aircraft Engineering, Aeronautical, or Auditing, or equivalent.
  • Diploma or certificate in a related field with relevant experience if applicable.
  • Certificates in Auditing, Quality Assurance, or Compliance (e.g., ICAO, IOSA, ISO Lead Assessor) are highly desirable.
  • Project Management certification or equivalent experience is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel and PowerPoint), Internet, and Web Search.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic or French is a plus.

Work Experience

  • At least 8 years of experience in the aviation or airline industry, with a minimum of 4 years leading quality, safety, or compliance functions. Low-cost airline experience is a plus.

Purpose
The purpose of this role is to assist the Cabin Crew Manager in managing the Cabin Crew Members at all times and ensure that all crew are legal as per the GCAA requirements and their needs are met.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Ensure all flights departing Sharjah consist of the correct crew complement, and liaise with Crew rostering officer regarding crew shortfalls, if any.
  2. Supervise correct and fair allocation of crew positions by auditing and reviewing.
  3. Manage action, follow up and provide feedback to cabin crew on cabin flight report.
  4. Ensure all procedures, manuals and documentations in the Briefing Office are updated and maintained as per GCAA and company policy requirements.
  5. Coach operating crew by giving them constructive feedback, being prepared to answer any queries, clarify any operational issues and if needed direct the crew member to the right personnel or department as necessary.
  6. Conduct assessments on Briefing to monitor both SCCM and CCM performance and take corrective actions where necessary on performance, a minimum of 3 briefing assessments should be conducted in a shift.
  7. Manage grooming standards; monitored and rectified where needed.
  8. Manage senior or captains' de-briefing and handle any conflict until it is resolved; use them as case studies in liaison with Training Manager.
  9. Carry out flight observations and submit a full report to Cabin Crew Manager (2 flights a month).
  10. Manage daily both catering and duty free issues and ensures that the right product is selected for increasing the revenue using feedback of the crew.
  11. Carry out a random pre and post flight check to monitor the boarding process, ground handling, catering-duty fs of discipline.
  12. Assist Cabin Crew Manager in Cabin Crew Recruitment.
  13. Assist Cabin Crew Manager for SCCM upgrade.
  14. Assist the Cabin Crew Manager and carry out investigations on crew disciplinary/appreciations.
  15. Manage crew welfare by looking at their personal issues, follow up with company Medical Centre for crew well-being, meet and assist new joining crews and visit crew if they are hospitalized.
  16. Ensure the Familiarization Flight program is carried out and the correct paperwork is completed as per Procedures and compliance is achieved.
  17. Prepare and disseminate Memos and reminders to all crew for any policy changes.
  18. Complete the Crew Movement Officer Shift Report Log at the end of the shift ensuring to note any handover matters for the following shift. Maintain physical appearance of the Briefing Office, including cleanliness, equipment condition etc., and make recommendations for any maintenance or equipment replacement.
  19. In the absence of a SCCM, the briefing officer on duty will nominate the most senior crew member to conduct the pre-flight safety briefing. Crew Movement Officer will advise Crew Control of the absence of the operating SCCM.
  20. Liaise with other hubs for sending and receiving any product i.e. crew uniforms, manuals.
  21. Attend weekly meeting with cabin crew manager to identify the areas that require improvement. Cabin appearance and crew performance; a full report should be submitted to Cabin Crew Manager. (3 flights per shifts).
  22. Liaise with other departments to fulfill cabin crew requirements (e.g. housing, transport, HR, finance). Place a purchase order for cabin crew department.
  23. Conduct evaluation for initial crew member during 90 days appraisal.
  24. Conduct appraisal for the crew including seniors.
  25. Maintain records of crew performance, sick leave, no show, punctuality, customer service and take the necessary action in case.

Desired Profile

  1. Educated to High Secondary level.
  2. Minimum five years of experience as a cabin crew member with three years as a senior cabin crew.
  3. Good working knowledge of Flight Duty Time Limitation regulations.
  4. Self-motivated and able to work independently with strong written and oral communication skills in English.
  5. Arabic would be an advantage.

Role Summary

As a key member of the Emirates Training College, this role involves evaluating and training pilots to ensure their competence in operating aircraft.

Pilots undergo regular assessments and examinations using advanced simulation technology to evaluate their performance. The Synthetic Flight Examiner plays a crucial role in ensuring that these evaluations are conducted fairly and objectively, meeting both regulatory requirements and the airline's high standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of pilot performance during recurrent, type rating, recency, and upgrade training sessions.
  • Evaluate pilot performance against established benchmarks and provide detailed feedback on areas for improvement.
  • Prepare comprehensive examination reports and submit them electronically within specified timelines.
  • Identify gaps in pilot performance and recommend targeted training or additional instruction as required.
  • Collaborate with training management to develop and improve training programs, instructional materials, and evaluation methods.
  • Support the development of new training initiatives and contribute to the continuous improvement of simulator-based training programs.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders to gather input on training effectiveness and identify opportunities for process improvements.
    • Responsibilities include conducting proficiency checks, skill tests, and assessments, as well as providing pre-and post-flight briefings, report writing, and assessing performance using electronic reporting systems.

A Flight Dispatch Examiner - Standards Training Technical is responsible for managing audits and competency checks on the Flight Dispatcher teams in accordance with company and regulatory requirements. The role involves developing and training comprehensive Dispatcher training modules, exercising operational control and supervision for flights to fulfill legal requirements of the GCAA, creating, implementing, and managing processes and procedures to ensure best business practice and adherence to company and regulatory requirements.

In This Role You Will

  • Manage and conduct audits and competency checks of Licensed Flight Dispatchers, maintaining up-to-date training records and licenses to document company and regulatory requirements.
  • Review, update, and implement flight dispatch procedures to optimize available resources within the Flight Dispatch team, ensuring implementation of industry best practice to provide a competitive advantage and a continuous effort to enhance safety.
  • Support Manager Flight Dispatch (MFD) in reviewing Flight Dispatch processes, procedures, and personnel to ensure future industry requirements are anticipated and delivered ahead of time.
  • Remain current with present and future regulatory requirements to ensure continued company compliance and provide support with internal and external audits.
  • Create and maintain a high-performance culture within the team, leading and developing direct reports and providing support to the wider team to ensure team members perform to the best of their ability and remain highly motivated while adhering to company standards and expectations.
  • Conduct the Licensed Flight Dispatcher role when required.

Standards Specific
  • Manage existing and future Flight Dispatch standards ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards, allowing all personnel to carry out operational control safely and efficiently.
  • Implement, review, and as required update the Dispatch Quality Assurance Program to align to Flight Dispatch legislation and requirements.

Training Specific
  • Develop, maintain, and manage Flight Dispatch Training programs ensuring compliance with company standards, ensuring GCAA regulatory required training is provided to Flight Dispatch to enable operations to be conducted in line with regulatory directives.
  • Design, implement, and manage the training and development of ab-initio UAE National Flight Operations Officers to enable them to pass the GCAA dispatch license exam following an 18-month training period, liaising with UAE National Development during these training cycles.

Technical Specific
  • Investigate and respond to Air Safety Reports, Captain Special Reports, and enquiries from outside agencies, such as ATC centers, ensuring report feedback is provided to the relevant departments for action in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate, lead, and deliver projects, implement tools, and enhance existing applications improving Flight Dispatch service standards and efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience

A minimum of 8 years' experience in Flight Operations, preferably with a GCAA dispatch license and a minimum of 5 years' experience exercising its privileges, along with passed competency check or course of recurrent training within the last six months. Prior experience in creating and delivering training content is preferable.
