The purpose of this role is to care for the needs of passengers, including their safety, well-being and comfort both in the air and on the ground.
HUB: Sharjah
Main Responsibilities
- Ensuring the safety, security, wellbeing and general comfort of passengers, in accordance with the GCAA regulation and provisions of the Air Arabia Operations Manual and Air Arabia Human Resources policies and procedures.
- Identifies situations where the safety, well-being and general comfort of passengers is at risk and takes remedial action, notifying Senior Cabin Crew accordingly.
- Carries out the duties of 'Senior Cabin Crew' when designated as such by the Captain.
- Instructs individual passengers on issues to ensure their safety and comfort, bringing difficulties to the attention of Senior Cabin Crew.
- Attends to the needs of individual passengers, watching for and identifying passengers experiencing stress or difficulties of any kind and attempting to alleviate their condition, engaging the assistance of other cabin crew if required.
- Attending to the requests of individual passengers, meeting their demands in accordance with the policies and procedures for providing services as detailed in the Operations Manual and other relevant instructions.
- Accounts to Senior Cabin Crew for the conduct of passengers and assists in ensuring cabin safety in accordance with emergency procedures as specified in the Operations Manual.
- Informs Senior Cabin Crew, Flight Crew and Captain, as appropriate, of irregularities and malfunctions.
- Checks emergency equipment, catering equipment and other specified equipment reporting deficiencies to Senior Cabin Crew and/or Captain as appropriate.
- Helps to ensure the aircraft cabin is cleaned thoroughly at transit stations.
- Helps to ensure adequate re-catering is provided before flying.
- After flights, assists in the completion of documentation. Assists in the closing and sealing of containers with duty free items in accordance with instructions.
- Assists in ensuring orderly and complete handover/takeover when handing/taking over the cabin from catering, cleaning or maintenance personnel.
- Attend all mandatory safety and emergency procedure training and to achieve the required pass mark.
- Be able to carry out all in flight emergencies.
Desired Profile
A Higher Secondary education with good pass results is essential, along with good English language command. An appropriate cabin crew certificate is essential. Training in first aid is essential – a formal qualification is an advantage. This is not essential, because we are training non-experience crew. Must be an Arabic speaker.

- Project Management certificate or alternately the proven corresponding working experience is nice to have.

Purpose
The purpose of this role is to assist the Cabin Crew Manager in managing the Cabin Crew Members at all times and ensure that all crew are legal as per the GCAA requirements and their needs are met.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure all flights departing Sharjah consist of the correct crew complement, and liaise with Crew rostering officer regarding crew shortfalls, if any.
- Supervise correct and fair allocation of crew positions by auditing and reviewing.
- Manage action, follow up and provide feedback to cabin crew on cabin flight report.
- Ensure all procedures, manuals and documentations in the Briefing Office are updated and maintained as per GCAA and company policy requirements.
- Coach operating crew by giving them constructive feedback, being prepared to answer any queries, clarify any operational issues and if needed direct the crew member to the right personnel or department as necessary.
- Conduct assessments on Briefing to monitor both SCCM and CCM performance and take corrective actions where necessary on performance, a minimum of 3 briefing assessments should be conducted in a shift.

- Manage senior or captains' de-briefing and handle any conflict until it is resolved; use them as case studies in liaison with Training Manager.

- Manage daily both catering and duty free issues and ensures that the right product is selected for increasing the revenue using feedback of the crew.
- Carry out a random pre and post flight check to monitor the boarding process, ground handling, catering-duty fs of discipline.

- Ensure the Familiarization Flight program is carried out and the correct paperwork is completed as per Procedures and compliance is achieved.
- Prepare and disseminate Memos and reminders to all crew for any policy changes.
- Complete the Crew Movement Officer Shift Report Log at the end of the shift ensuring to note any handover matters for the following shift. Maintain physical appearance of the Briefing Office, including cleanliness, equipment condition etc., and make recommendations for any maintenance or equipment replacement.
- In the absence of a SCCM, the briefing officer on duty will nominate the most senior crew member to conduct the pre-flight safety briefing. Crew Movement Officer will advise Crew Control of the absence of the operating SCCM.
- Liaise with other hubs for sending and receiving any product i.e. crew uniforms, manuals.
- Attend weekly meeting with cabin crew manager to identify the areas that require improvement. Cabin appearance and crew performance; a full report should be submitted to Cabin Crew Manager. (3 flights per shifts).
- Liaise with other departments to fulfill cabin crew requirements (e.g. housing, transport, HR, finance). Place a purchase order for cabin crew department.
- Conduct evaluation for initial crew member during 90 days appraisal.
- Conduct appraisal for the crew including seniors.
- Maintain records of crew performance, sick leave, no show, punctuality, customer service and take the necessary action in case.
Desired Profile
- Educated to High Secondary level.
- Minimum five years of experience as a cabin crew member with three years as a senior cabin crew.
- Good working knowledge of Flight Duty Time Limitation regulations.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with strong written and oral communication skills in English.
- Arabic would be an advantage.
