- Strong portfolio showcasing innovative digital campaigns, video content (TikTok, Reels), animation, and motion graphics.
- Proficiency in design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects).
- Practical experience with animation and video production, with the ability to deliver engaging content.

- Communicate regularly with the Brand Marketing team on ongoing and upcoming projects to ensure alignment and timely execution
- Identify creative opportunities that will benefit the company and elevate brand presence
- Keep on top of social media and beauty trends, proactively sharing insights and recommendations with the wider team
- Guide and mentor potential direct reports to maintain high standards
- 5-7 years of experience in the creative field, with a strong focus on art direction, photography, and visual storytelling

Qualifications• 5+ years of work experience and a book brimming with brave ideas and outstanding craft, some that saw the light of day, and maybe some that didn’t

• Strong grasp of social media space and online media jargon and technology

Summary: We are seeking a talented and motivated Art Director to join our creative team. Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee photography shoots, ensuring lighting, composition, and visual executions are both exciting and compelling, delivering high-quality assets for various campaigns and brand initiatives
- Collaborate closely with the photography team, leading product photography shoots, overseeing the creative direction, lighting, composition, prop styling, and ensuring alignment with the overall vision
- Lead on Product Detail Page (PDP) model photography shoots from concept to final deliverables, ensuring the visual execution meets the creative vision and brand standards
- Support Creative Producers in developing engaging and persuasive creative decks for campaign shoots.
- Conduct trend research, source references, and create storyboards to support creative development and visual direction
- Ensure creative work aligns with the brand's DNA, messaging, and creative direction
- Collaborate effectively with external creative partners, including photographers, stylists, and other vendors, to ensure the seamless execution of creative projects
- Work closely with the internal post-production team, creatively overseeing post-production processes, including selects, retouching notes, and final image crops across all channels
- Brainstorm and research content and campaign ideas in partnership with relevant teams
- Stay updated on best-in-class content and creative trends, technical advancements in photography, lighting, and retouching, incorporating them into campaigns to keep our work fresh and innovative
- Partner with the in-house production team to ensure all shoots are properly briefed, communicated, and executed with precision
- Communicate regularly with the Brand Marketing team on ongoing and upcoming projects to ensure alignment and timely execution
- Identify creative opportunities that will benefit the company and elevate brand presence
- Keep on top of social media and beauty trends, proactively sharing insights and recommendations with the wider team
- Guide and mentor potential direct reports to maintain high standards
- 5-7 years of experience in the creative field, with a strong focus on art direction, photography, and visual storytelling
- Background in design, with a solid understanding of layout, typography, and composition
- Social media native, with an understanding of the visual trends and aesthetic preferences of digital audiences
- Knowledge and understanding of makeup and beauty, with an eye for detail and style
- Ability to sketch and create mockups to communicate ideas clearly and effectively
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate creative concepts to cross-functional teams
- Proactive, with a strong ability to take ownership of projects and tasks from start to finish
- Kind, emotionally intelligent, and able to collaborate effectively with team members across departments
- Acute attention to detail, ensuring that every visual element is carefully considered and executed
