Qualifications & Experience
- For Assistant Professor:
- A PhD in Communications, Advertising, Integrated Marketing Communications, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

- Prior university-level teaching experience preferred.
- For Associate Professor:
- A PhD in Communications, Advertising, Integrated Marketing Communications, or a related field.
- A strong record of peer-reviewed research publications.
- A minimum of five years of teaching experience at the university level.
- Experience in academic leadership, curriculum development, and industry engagement is preferred.

The School of Management is seeking highly qualified faculty members specializing in Business Analytics/Data Sciences area to join our academic team. Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the program's subject matter expert
- Support the Program Chair/Coordinator in daily operations
- Ensure curriculum alignment with university standards and UAE Ministry of Higher Education requirements
- Engage in teaching, research, development, and community outreach activities
- Participate in administrative duties and community service
- Instruct graduate and undergraduate courses in the relevant field
- Maintain accurate student records and submit timely grades
- Deliver and update course syllabi
- Assist in curriculum evaluation and suggest improvements
- Hold regular office hours and support student learning
- Advise students, particularly those at academic risk
- Recommend learning resources and materials
- Contribute to new course development
- Supervise independent studies
- Stay current with disciplinary developments through research and professional engagement
- Advise students during registration periods
- Attend faculty and departmental meetings
- Participate in orientation and professional development workshops
- Engage in community outreach activities
- Support the School's accreditation efforts
- Represent the Canadian University Dubai in professional settings

The minimum amount of education and experience that an individual needs in order to successfully perform the essential duties of the position are as follows:
- Ph.D. in the Business Analytics/Data Sciences (or a close field) obtained from top 500 QS-ranked universities, preferably western accredited universities.
- Candidates must have a demonstrated record of teaching effectiveness and research publications in highly ranked Scopus journals.
- Applicants with experience within a Canadian Institution are preferred.
- Middle East teaching experience is preferred.
