Stantec is looking to hire a HSE Engineer to join our growing site supervision team in Abu Dhabi.
The HSE Engineer shall implement the Safety rules of the company and the client, supervise the different areas in order to promote and maintain a safe working environment.
Key accountabilities for this position include but are not limited to:
-Preparation and review of HSE Plans, risk assessment, HSE procedures, audit plan
-Conducting HSE audits, inspection, incident investigation as per OHSAS 18001 requirements, OSHAD, International and local requirements
-Good knowledge in the local requirements and regulations for OHSAD, AD municipality, Dubai Municipality, JAFZA Code of practices
-Coordination with clients, contractors and regulatory agencies
-Ensure compliance by all parties with Company's HSE requirements and regulations and all relevant legislation and statutory requirements, including rules and regulations (as amended from time to time)
-To manage in a manner that achieves quality installations meeting performance parameters set out in the Statement of requirements within the cost and schedule targets set by the company.
-To ensure that all actions, works and services undertaken by contractors, are in accordance with the respective agreement with the company.
-To ensure compliance with the company's objectives, requirements, priorities, policies, procedures, standards, rules, regulations and guidelines provided by Company from time to time.
-Review and approve the HSE deliverables of the project.
-Monitor the construction activities and make sure that these are executed as per the HSE plan and procedures.
-Develop & execute a personal HSE intervention plan. Personal plan to include the activities that support visible HSE leadership such as, safety inspection tours in all areas, identifies potential hazards & recommended solutions, audits, personal interaction and participation in HSE meetings.
-Direct and support the identification of HSE hazards, evaluation of risks for all activities and develop the tools to manage and reduce these risks
-Participate in and/or review the various Formal Safety Assessments.
-Review HSE Plan, Procedure, Method Statement, Risk assessment & all Health, Safety & Environment related documentation to ensure compliance with established standards.
-Implement improvement & prohibition notice to contractors set up recommendation & corrective action with the close out date follow up the same
**Qualifications:**
- Minimum 12 years of vivid experience in HSE domain in construction related operations with Consultant firms in UAE and ME.
- Level 06 Diploma or above in OSH
- ISO 45001 Lead Auditor
- Experience letters from employers are mandatory as evidence of work experience in HSE domain.
-The ability to manage a heavy workload, with a close attention to detail.
-Excellent computer skills.
-A customer-focused approach, possessing impressive communication skills.
-The ability to work autonomously, reviewing your work on a regular basis while consistently meeting your objectives and the capabilities to meet tight deadlines. Candidate must have experience in Testing and Commissioning.
-Committed to working with all levels of management on a daily and ongoing basis.
-A proactive approach, working effectively in
co-ordinating activities and complex tasks, taking professional responsibility in all matters.

Job Summary
The Project / Quantity Surveyor will lead key elements of the site based post contract delivery of our cost management activities having daily interaction with the rest of the AECOM site supervision team. They will be expected to work well as part of a team and autonomously and know when to reach back to the office / line manager for additional support.
**Job Duties**
+ To achieve the highest standards of professional competence and to demonstrate this ability in all dealings with clients and professional contacts, reinforcing the profile of the firm.

+ Assist in evaluating claims.
+ Preparation of financial updates and monthly cost reports.

+ Estimate variation orders for Contractors/Subcontractors.

Stantec is currently looking for a BIM Coordinator to join our dynamic site team and support on a construction supervision project.
Qualifications And Technical Competencies
- Experience in working with both consultants/contractors is preferable.
- Technically capable of producing and managing LOD 300, 400 & 500 BIM models.
- Will ensure construction documents accuracy based on discipline BIM modelling and the collaboration and coordination with other disciplines for design-changes and model challenges.
- Monitor and validate As-Built model tagging with all related project documents e.g. The H&S file(s) and O&M manual(s) etc.
- Manage federated model setups for interdisciplinary review and clash resolution.
- Perform clash detection, model coordination, and issue resolution using advanced BIM software and tools.
- Implement BIM execution plans, workflows, protocols, and quality control measures for each project in line with the stakeholders BIR.
- Coordinate and collaborate with project stakeholders to align BIM deliverables with project requirements and expectations.
- Conduct regular BIM coordination meetings to resolve clashes and ensure model accuracy.
- Prepare own discipline model and/or content for internal reviews and coordination meetings.
- Support project Manager in day-to-day BIM implementation activities.
- Support contractor BIM team with planning and construction activities with proposed 4D sequencing model(s) review and progress reporting.
- Provide progress and performance updates to project manager on fortnightly and monthly basis.
- Record, store and maintain all formal correspondences related to BIM activities.
- Must have solid understanding CDE platforms like BIM 360/ProjectWise, ACC.
- Monitor and support the data collection process and validate Asset Information Model (AIM) with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) requirements for eg. Construction Operation Building Information Exchange (COBIE) and/or client specific requirements.
- Ensure Project Information Model (PIM) are delivered in accordance with the agreed TIDP, MIDP and CDE protocol.
- Collaborate and coordinate with the Project manager design-changes and model challenges.
- Work closely with the Project Manager to support the in-house architectural, general engineering, and civil design discipline teams with day-to-day and long-term duties, tasks, and training
- Understanding of Dynamo BIM is necessary.
- Technically capable of handling point cloud data.
**Qualifications:**
Experience (essential)
- A degree, ideally in Architecture, Structure, Mechanical or equivalent
- A minimum of 10 years BIM experience
- Proven building project experience.
- Manage / Update BIM Project Documents.
- 3D Model Quantity Extraction / Verification.
- 4D Scheduling / Simulation using Autodesk NavisWorks and experience with Primavera P6 preferred.
- Experience working in a Design Consultancy and / or Contractor.
- Extensive experience in Autodesk Revit, NavisWorks & AutoCAD, Civil 3D
- Advance understanding of creating Revit families.
- Working knowledge of Information Standards ISO 19650 (Parts 1 & 2 at a minimum), PAS 1192, BS1192, MIDP and TIDP creation and MIDP Automation.
- Knowledge of CDE platforms (BIM 360, ProjectWise, Aconex).
- Experience conducting clash detection and visual walkthroughs using Navisworks Manage.
- Experience creating/tailoring project setups to suit the client.
- Candidate must have worked on large scale projects.
- Possess the ability to Develop Analytical Reports and Presentations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
