- Responsible for construction and contractor related deliverables
- Supervises all areas on small projects and / or a subset / discipline on larger projects
- Responsible for management and execution of multiple field disciplines or a subset of assigned construction project(s) in accordance with the requirements of the contract between the company and the client, and in accordance with the company's operating policies and principles.
- Responsible for execution of the work in accordance with the quality standards and requirements specified for the project.
- Manages and controls project cost and schedule of assigned disciplines / subset of onsite construction.
- Management of installation, commissioning and completion activities of materials and equipment.
- Coordinates field personnel work schedules to maximize utilization and ensure work is delivered on schedule
- Ability to monitor work progress and report against the plan.
- Ensure safety, quality and environmental responsibilities and accountabilities have been defined and communicated to workers engaged within their area(s) of control
- Ensure all workers within their area(s) of control receive appropriate training to perform their work in a safe, legal and competent manner including any Health and Safety and site-specific inductions
- Initiate safety, quality and environmental processes within their area(s) of control, including toolbox meetings, inspections, and the identification, assessment and control of risks in accordance with Wod and client requirements

Expected:

Job Purpose
The Construction Manager will oversee the multiple Lots within the Water Transmission Scheme. The scope includes multiple pump stations, distribution pipelines, valve houses, storage reservoirs and distribution networks to rural areas. The role will include planning, scheduling monitoring, progress and coordination of resources and preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual progress report. This is a PMC role, and the Construction Manager will be responsible for overseeing and execution of construction activities carried out by EPC`s on large-scale water transmission projects in Abu Dhabi. There will be multiple Supervision Consultants and EPC`s appointed directly by the Client. This role involves strategic planning, resource management, and collaboration with various stakeholders to meet project objectives, timelines, and budget constraints.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the construction and delivery of the assigned Projects under the programme.
- Monitor DELIVERY CONTRACTORS performance and resolve onsite execution challenges.
- Review and approve construction methodologies, risk assessments and work permits.
- Manage the delivery of the Lots within the scope for the project, ensuring the integration and alignment of all project activities with the strategic objectives of the EMPLOYER.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, supervision consultants, contractors, vendors and regulatory authorities ensuring consistency and collaboration alignment and compliance with project specifications and regulations.
- Coordinate daily with the SUPERVISION CONSULTANT and DELIVERY CONTRACTORS to address design, execution, and compliance challenges.
- Oversee contractor performance, resolving conflicts and facilitating approvals.
- Provide leadership and direction to project teams, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor project progress and performance, implementing corrective actions as necessary to address any deviations from the project plan.
