The Construction Manager will oversee the multiple Lots within the Water Transmission Scheme. + Lead and manage the construction and delivery of the assigned Projects under the programme.
+ Monitor DELIVERY CONTRACTORS performance and resolve onsite execution challenges.

The Construction Manager is a pivotal leader within our project teams, responsible for overseeing and coordinating construction projects from inception to completion. This role involves the meticulous planning, execution, and closure of construction projects while ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards. As a Construction Manager, you will be the primary point of contact between the project stakeholders, contractors, and our internal teams. Your ability to manage cross-functional teams, resolve conflicts, and make informed decisions will be essential to your success. You will also ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes while fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Responsibilities- Plan, organize, and manage construction projects from start to finish.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractor activities and schedules on-site.
- Review and interpret project blueprints, specifications, and contracts daily.
- Ensure project remains on schedule and within approved budget constraints.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders for project efficiency.
- Monitor compliance with safety protocols and enforce regulations rigorously.
- Manage procurement of necessary materials and equipment for the project.
- Conduct regular project site inspections to address issues proactively.
- Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders and senior management.
- Support the resolution of any unexpected technical difficulties promptly.
- Develop risk management strategies to minimize project risks accordingly.
- Lead project meetings, ensuring all team members are aligned on objectives.
- Bachelor s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
- Minimum of five years experience in construction management or similar role.
- Proficient understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate effectively with teams.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to handle unexpected challenges.
- In-depth knowledge of quality and health and safety standards in the industry.
- Proficient in construction management software and other relevant applications.
