Job Title: Project Engineer - Civil Construction (GCC Experience Required)


Our client  is a leading developer  company with a strong presence in the GCC region. We specialize in high rise construction projects and have a proven track record of delivering quality projects on time and within budget. We are currently seeking a highly experienced and skilled Project Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of experience in civil construction, specifically in high rise buildings.

Job Overview:

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and construction of high rise projects in the GCC region. You will work closely with the project manager and other team members to ensure the successful completion of projects within the specified timelines and budget. Your role will also involve coordinating with various stakeholders, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with all safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee the planning, design, and construction of high rise projects in the GCC region

- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans

**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelors' Degree or Masters' Degree from an accredited institution in Electrical Engineering
+ 2-5 years of experience in Electrical design from a system perspective (MV/LV/UPS)
+ 2-5 years of experience in Customer Project Management
+ 2-5 years of experience in Datacenter construction project is a plus
+ MV/UPS commissioning experience is a plus

  • Develop the project strategy including project execution plan & master schedule.

  • Keep track of warranties / defects liability period on the works preformed and raise NCRs whenever required to EPC Contractors. Coordinate all corrective actions.
  • Comply with all UAE, ADNOC, ADNOC Drilling and client Asset Integrity Management codes of practice.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

Minimum Qualification

**Job Summary:**
The Smart City Project Engineer II will lead the development and implementation of smart city projects. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders, including municipal authorities, cross-functional teams, and technology partners. The Engineer will oversee project planning, design, execution, and evaluation to ensure the successful deployment of smart technologies.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Project Management:
- Lead planning & execution, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Develop project timelines, align with development teams
.
2. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Coordinate with city officials, community representatives, and businesses to gather requirements and ensure project alignment with community needs.
- Facilitate meetings and provide updates to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
3. Technical:
- Design and evaluate smart city solutions, including IoT, data analytics, and other emerging technologies.
- Work closely with technology vendors and contractors to integrate systems and ensure compliance with city standards.
- Capability to perform cloud deployments and review the sizing and investigate network issues
- System integration coordination and technical support.
- SIT & UAT
4. Data Management & Analysis:
- Analyze data from various sources to assess the impact of smart city initiatives.
- Implement data governance practices to ensure accuracy and privacy.
5. Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness in smart city projects.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in smart city technologies and urban planning.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Engineer with 8+ years of industry experience
- Proven minimum 3 years experience in smart city and digitization project customization, integration and deployment experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of smart city technologies and systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment.
- Proficient in project management software and data analysis tools.
