Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supervise, monitor, and inspect all on-site activities in accordance with approved shop drawings, materials, method statements, and ITPs.

- Maintain accurate records of work progress to support interim payment reviews.
- Report any site issues that may result in cost or time claims.
- Liaise with the Contractor team in a professional, fair, and firm manner.
- Enforce HSE rules and procedures, ensuring Contractor compliance.
- Review and verify daily reports from the Contractor.
- Witness and supervise materials sampling/testing and maintain delivery records.
- Coordinate with the Resident Engineer to resolve site issues.
- Check and approve 'Day Work' records.
- Review and comment on weekly/monthly progress reports.
- Attend site technical and progress meetings as required.
- Carry out inspections during snagging, de-snagging, and handover processes, maintaining relevant records.
- Inspect rectification works during the Defects Liability Period.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in design, site supervision, and construction management.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of construction practices, materials, and equipment.
- Ability to read/interpret plans, specifications, and blueprints.
- Keen eye for detecting construction errors.

- Shall attend factory inspections whenever required to ensure the products are in line with DEWA approval/specification and international standards. Ensure proper documentation of the inspection results and document the observations noticed during the inspection. Review compliance statement and provide recommendations for issuance of Dispatch Clearance.
- Shall Coordinate and participate in various technical, design and progress meetings to resolve raised technical problems and to ensure the smooth running of projects.
- Shall Liaise with DEWA user departments to offer solutions on technical issues raised to ensure compliance to DEWA’s requirements.
- Shall assist in raising change requests on the existing technical specification to be used for future Turnkey projects in terms of optimization, previously agreed deviations, standardization efforts, actual market situation, and lessons learned from past projects to avoid any ambiguity or misunderstanding in future contracts.
- Shall assist in materials conformity and approvals inline with the approved qualification methodology and ensure the quality and compliance of the product with DEWA's specification and international standards.
- Shall Assist in investigating and addressing issues reported through the failure feedback mechanism.
- Conduct site visits and site quality audits, as and when required, to verify the executed work is in line with DEWA approvals and obtain feedback from stakeholders for future consideration in new projects.
