On behalf of our client, an established industrial projectmanagement company based in Abu Dhabi, we are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller. This role requires a hands-on finance professional with strong technical expertise, the ability to oversee the full spectrum of financial management, and to ensure compliance with international and UAE standards. Fluency in English is essential.
About the Role- Oversee the full financial management function, including accounting, reporting, and compliance activities.
- Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with UAE regulations.
- Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flow management.
- Ensure compliance with tax, audit, and other statutory requirements in the UAE.
- Supervise and guide the finance team in day-to-day operations.
- Establish, implement, and maintain robust internal controls, policies, and procedures.
- Provide financial insights and strategic support to senior management and project teams.
- Liaise with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders as required.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, ideally within industrial, project management, or related sectors.
- Strong knowledge of international and UAE financial standards and regulations.
- Proven expertise in budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written) is essential.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software systems.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on and proactive approach to financial management.
