You will be part of a dynamic team of 10 people and will report to the General Manager Financial Control. You will work closely with all of Trading& Shipping Finance departments (Market Risk Control, Treasury, Accounting, Internal Control, Credit), with Management, Operational directions.
Your role will be to provide General Management with the financial information necessary for the Branch's financial management and performance measurement.
What you will do
- You will consolidate and analyze the reporting of the main trading entities of T&S.
- You will ensure the reliability of processes and contribute, in liaison with accounting, to the consistency between management results and accounting results.
- You will monitor the overheads of the entities, their allocation to the various desks and the re-invoicing to the other branches.
- You will carry out ad-hoc analyzes at the request of management
- You will prepare the budget for overheads in collaboration with HR and the different departments.
- You will optimize and develop as much as necessary the tools used in the context of your missions. You will participate in the definition and implementation of the projects necessary for the evolution of the processes and tools used by the financial teams of the various T&S entities.
- You have a master’s degree in finance with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a controlling position.
- You have a strong appetite for numbers, dexterity in handling calculation tools and databases, proficiency in computer tool (PowerBI, Excel)
- You have good knowledge of IFRS standards and are familiar with the hedging concepts
- You have strong critical thinking and analytical skills; you are reactive by nature and will always have a rigorous approach and exercise sense of synthesis and diplomacy

Reporting to the Regional Financial Controller, this role works closely with broking, compliance, and operations teams across MENA to ensure accurate reporting, financial governance, and strategic support in line with UK GAAP, IFRS, and regional regulatory frameworks.
- Financial Control & Month-End Close
- Lead the month-end close and financial reporting process for Lockton MENA Limited and LRB KSA (once live), ensuring timely and accurate reporting in accordance with UK GAAP and IFRS.
- Manage general ledger integrity including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and intercompany transactions.
- Ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled monthly with appropriate supporting documentation.

JOB PURPOSE:
The Financial Controller plays a critical role in overseeing the financial operations of the organization, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and integrity in all financial reporting. Acting as a key business partner to the General Manager (Offshore & Marine), the role provides strategic financial guidance to drive growth, manage liquidity, and support informed decision-making. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Management:
- Provide leadership to Finance personnel.
- Ensure the local finance teams are clear on priorities & deadlines.
- Assist the Group CFO on treasury related activities such as 13-week cash flows forecasting, group wide cash management strategy.
- Build productive working relationships with key stakeholders to understand their business operations and the financial information needs of end users.
- Ensure finance teams are aware of their responsibility to maintain accurate local accounts and resolve any issues that are raised.
- Management of financial budgeting and forecasting process.
- Identify the need for coaching across the finance teams, design and deliver development plans as required.
- Assist the Group CFO in the recruitment of new team members as and when required.
- Assist the Group CFO on ad-hoc tasks including but not limited to Due Diligences, Special purpose audits etc.
- Manage the banking relationships.
Transactional:
- Manage the accounting books for HP Gulf, HP Emirates, HP Singapore and HP Japan.
- Maintain accounting controls at all times.
- Identify bottlenecks in any of the transactional processes and develop and implement solutions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and organisational policies.
- Coordinate with Group Tax Manager to manage HP Gulf, HP Emirates, HP Singapore and HP Japan tax matters, filings, compliances.
Periodic:
- Manage the end-end monthly closing process of HP Gulf, HP Emirates, HP Singapore and HP Japan. Ensure all supporting schedules and reconciliations are complete and accurate.
- Prepare accurate and timely consolidated financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statement monthly.
- Assist in the process of preparing the monthly MBR. Monitor performance against budgets and analyse deviations to ensure alignment with organizational goals. Analyse individual entities financial performance against budgets, forecasts any other KPI's or metrics set.
- Assist Financial Controller (Group and Plant & Industrial) in developing the reporting mechanism for Offshore & Marine Business Unit. Ensure the financial reporting is of high standards, presenting accurate results with detailed variance analysis.
- Present and explain financial information and performance to the Group CFO.
- Assist in preparation of the annual consolidated group budgets and subsequent forecasts.
- Lead the statutory audits of HP Gulf, HP Emirates, HP Singapore and HP Japan and ensure timely completion with clean audit opinion and minimal adjustments to year end reported numbers.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Minimum Qualification:
- Financial qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) or another internationally recognized certification.
- Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning systems (ERP).
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel, with ability to create concise, efficient, and accurate models.
Minimum Experience:
- At least 15 years of work experience in Finance within a large multinational organisation.
- Experience as a Senior Finance Manager or Financial Controller, overseeing multiple legal entities across various geographies.
