**The Role:**
The Program Quality Engineer helps deliver quality results for an assigned vehicle line from development to end of production. Working under general supervision, the role applies established quality processes and exercises judgment within defined procedures. also represent the customer's voice throughout development, support delivery of regional quality targets, resolve routine and non-routine quality issues in a timely manner, support the quality of new software and technology features for smooth launches, and support reliable launches of new software and connected features across vehicle electrical architectures (e.g., Global B, CLEA).
**What You'll Do**
+ Apply the quality targets set with the Lead Program Quality Manager and execute plans to meet them.
+ Track Country Specific Requirements (CSRs), provide supporting data, and escalate when not met.
+ Support agreed fixes and recovery plans in global quality meetings.
+ Take part in Product Quality Readiness Reviews (PQRRs) and the regional Start of Sales, supplier, hardware, and start-of-production reviews.
+ Identify and escalate risks, and confirm fixes are in place.
+ Execute the regional Captured Test Fleet (CTF) program end to end (ordering, scheduling, shipping, tracking, software updates, issue resolution).
+ Carry out port-of-exit and port-of-entry inspections.
+ Support the Field Early Warning program and home-team in-country verification.
+ Support current vehicle lines in meeting quality targets (IPTV, CPV, customer satisfaction, warranty spend).
+ Log and track issues in problem-resolution systems and support status reporting.
+ Report all safety concerns through the established process.
+ Track fixes from source plants and platforms, and escalate delays.
**Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)**
**Experience and education**
+ An engineering degree in mechanical, electrical, or an equivalent discipline.
+ At least 5 years of relevant automotive experience with a bachelor's degree, or 2 years with a master's.
+ Reliability or service engineering experience is an advantage.
**Knowledge**
+ A solid automotive background in engineering, quality, service, or manufacturing.
+ Experience with quality processes and the vehicle development process, including production launch, part approval, quality assessment, customer audits, and warranty and customer-survey measures.
**Skills**

+ Maintain detailed records of inspections, non-conformance reports (NCRs), corrective actions, and quality documentation required for final project handover.
+ Ensure on time processing of non-conformances reports (NCRs); Follow up on the closure of NCRs and observations, ensuring timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions by the contractor.
+ Verify compliance of materials used on site, ensuring traceability through delivery inspections and testing certificates.
+ Support the QA/QC Manager in preparing periodic quality reports, trend analyses, and inputs to monthly progress reports.
+ Conduct spot checks on workmanship and adherence to specifications, reporting findings to the Resident Engineer and QA/QC Manager.
+ Liaise with the contractor's QA/QC staff to resolve quality issues on site under the direction of the QA/QC Manager.
+ Participate in toolbox talks or quality briefings to reinforce quality requirements at site level.
+ Conducts/assists audit per the Audit schedule.
+ Interact with Contractors and Clients teams to optimize documentation related to quality and inspection checks.
+ Ensure all construction materials comply with DMT/ADM specifications, approved material lists, and project contract requirements.
+ Review and approve material submittals, source approvals, mix designs, and compliance certificates in accordance with DMT/ADM specifications and local authority standards.

**QA/QC Materials Engineer - Stormwater & Infrastructure**
**Abu Dhabi, UAE**
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **QA/QC Materials Engineer - Stormwater & Infrastructure** to join our team on a major Infrastructure project. In this role, you will ensure that all works and materials associated with large stormwater pump installations, submarine/marine pipelines and related civil and infrastructure works are delivered in full compliance with project specifications, Client requirements, International standards and Contractual obligations.
You will play a key role in supervising and coordinating QA/QC activities across the construction phase focusing on the integrity and performance of materials and construction methods - from materials approval and laboratory oversight through to site inspection, non-conformance management and handover documentation for major stormwater and infrastructure assets.
**What You'll Be Doing:**
+ Supervise and inspect civil, structural, and related construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, and standards.
+ Conduct regular inspections, audits and surveillance activities to verify compliance with drawings, specifications and standards.
+ Perform technical review and approval of material submittals, mix designs, specifications, and vendor data for stormwater, electromechanical, earthworks and infrastructure components.
+ Monitor and evaluate materials testing program to confirm compliance with ASTM, AASHTO, BS, EN, and ADQCC standards.
+ Review and audit materials testing laboratories, including equipment calibration, accreditation, testing procedures, and reporting accuracy.
+ Advise on material selection, durability, and performance suitability for local soil conditions, and UAE's climatic environment.
+ Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC plans, procedures and protocols aligned with project and contractual requirements.
+ Review and approve construction methods, workmanship and equipment to confirm adherence to quality standards.
+ Ensure all QA/QC activities are conducted in compliance with applicable safety regulations and HSE standards.
+ Coordinate with project team, design engineers, clients and contractors to resolve quality/material-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
+ Participate in technical reviews, design coordination meetings and site inspections to assess material compliance and in-situ performance.
+ Review contractors' submittals related to materials, quality plans, sources of supply, and method statements.
+ Verify conformity of materials and equipment prior to shipment.
+ Prepare, maintain, and control QA/QC documentation including inspection reports, test reports, NCRs, corrective action reports, and quality records.
+ Maintain and update the Approved Vendors List (AVL), ensuring suppliers and sources continue to meet technical, quality, and regulatory criteria.
+ Conduct periodic performance reviews of approved vendors, suppliers, and production facilities to meet technical, quality, and regulatory criteria.
+ Prepare, maintain, and complete all quality and materials documentation required for project handover and closure to execute activities related to the Asset Transfer System (ATS), ensuring accurate compilation and transfer.
+ Mentor junior QA/QC staff and inspectors as required by the project.
**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
+ Minimum of 10 years of experience infrastructure projects with large Stormwater systems and pump stations Submarine/marine pipeline development projects.
+ Strong ability to read and interpret drawings, plans and technical specifications and QA/QC documentations.
+ Thorough familiarity with construction processes and practices preferably within the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and dealing with local authorities procedures.
+ Education Equivalency certificate (as applicable to Abu Dhabi/UAE regulations).
+ ADM / DMT license is highly preferred.
**What Desired Skills You'll Bring:**
+ Experience managing multiple client and authority requirements on complex infrastructure projects.
+ Strong HSE awareness and ability to identify and address site hazards.
+ Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced site environment.
