We are constantly expanding our market position with a future-oriented international business strategy. Therefore, we are looking for a dedicated and motivated person to strengthen our Production team in Dubai, UAE Site- Acino Pharmaceuticals FZ LLC.
Main Tasks:
- Training and Leadership / Culture & Leadership: Lead and mentor the production team, ensuring motivation and continuous skill development. Act as a role model by fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and operational excellence.
- Supervision: Supervise and coordinate dispensing, manufacturing and packaging activities, ensuring production targets are met (quality, timelines, and costs).
- Continuous Improvement: Monitor and improve existing processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency, waste reduction, and continuous improvement. Drive a culture of continuous improvement by promoting best practices and efficiency initiatives.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all activities comply with cGMP and safety regulations, including the use of PPE and maintaining personnel hygiene.
- Facility Inspection: Identify and report safety, health, and environmental risks.
- Housekeeping and Sanitization: Maintain good housekeeping and follow cleaning and sanitization procedures.
- Equipment Management: Ensure equipment qualification, calibration, and maintenance.
- Documentation: Prepare, review, and update SOPs, protocols, reports, and other documents.
- Quality Management: Handle change control, deviations, investigations, and ensure timely closure of quality documents.
- Material Management: Ensure availability of raw and packaging materials and coordinate with the warehouse.
- Collaboration: Work closely with quality assurance, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless production operations.
- Regulatory Compliance: Handle audits and inspections, ensuring compliance with regulations.
– Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or relevant field.
– Minimum of 6-8 years of experience is preferred.
– Good communication and problem-solving skills.
– Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Internal:
- Internal - Production Engineer /Production Supervisor (Blending/bulk)/Production Technician(Blending/bulk).
- Internal - Maintenance Technician / Maintenance Supervisor/QC Team/Packaging Engineer/HSSEQ team.
External:
- External interaction – Contract manpower suppliers, transport crew, etc., Especially with packaging materials transporters – he is the first site level contact point and is critical from this angle to ensure company image.
- Responsible of the filling lines in terms of managing the changeover process controlling and directing the people in the filling teams, ensure times are well managed, machine changeover happens technically well and in time.
- Monitor work area for potential losses and recommend areas for improvement.
- Ensure control & check on the HSSEQ guidelines / procedures / work instructions as issued & propose changes.
- Receptive to new trainings issues and be a proactive member to participate in tool kit meetings for HSSEQ improvements – Also train new operators on day to day basis.
- Ensure no quality or safety incidents occur due to negligence, carelessness or overconfidence.
- Ensure vigilance and care at all times during the operation time so that operation is productive.
- Be responsible to Production Engineer for productivity of the filling lines and able to explain the outcomes logically.
- Manage Filling operations in the absence of Production Engineer.
- Plan the next fillings as per plan released and arrange for resources with relevant people concerned.
- Be able to do some small maintenance in filling lines independently and Troubleshooting using his/her technical competence and skills.
- Packaging plan – Daily stock count of packaging materials and assist Production Engineer for daily packaging item call off.
- Responsible to efficiently operate all key machines on small pack/drum filling lines like Labelling , robots , filling stations etc.
- Monitor stock of labels/caps and proactively co-ordinate with production Engineer to give call of for labels/caps prior stock level reach to MSL.
- Weekly and spot count of packaging material as per standard procedures and provide variance report and analysis to Production supervisor(Stocks)/Production Engineer.
- Conduct daily toolbox (VMP1) meeting with filling team addressing safety and other points and follow Handing over mechanism.
- Inspection of packaging materials in absence of Packaging Engineer/Packaging Supervisor.
- Be responsible to Production Engineer for reporting any non – conformities identified during Production and / dispatch process.
Job Related Objectives:
· Execution of daily filling plan as issued by Planning Team.
· Proactively arranging all the packaging items on filling lines for next filling in order to reduce waiting time for filling.
· Completion of Filling Work orders by accurately updating relevant details with respect to Raw material & consumables consumed.
· Closure of filling work order in SAP through MES System (Lubcel).
· Efficient controls of all ISO system and other relevant documents and retrieval as an when required.
· OEE analysis of filling lines using Lean cure tool on timely basis to obtain best results logically.
· Timely logging of Breakdown complaints in CMMS tools.
· Ensure Operability of all Quality interlocks all the time at filling lines to achieve NO Quality complaints from internal /external customers.
· Participate in the investigation and analysis of Quality complaints as and when required.
· Train and guide his subordinates well in time for achieving the daily filling targets and Support to Production engineer in creating pool of multi skills staff by proactively planning to train subordinates on other operations in Lubricants Production.
· Responsible for filling operations at filling lines – drums/Pails / small packs.
· Ensure optimum utilization of resources to assist Production Engineer reach his Productivity objectives.
· Ensure operations of the filling line are well coordinated to lead to acceptable productivity levels.
· In conjunction with project team, participate in commissioning of new Equipment.
· Maintain and improve 5S & Visual management on filling lines and participate in KIZEN implementation program.
· Participate in PGI (Planned General Inspections).
HSSEQ Objectives:
· To understand and adherence to the current regulatory requirements applicable to the areas of responsibilities.
· To comply with Work Permit program (as per the PTW roles and responsibility assignment: process owner/ permit applicant/ issuing authority and approval authority).
· Reporting of near misses, incidents, hazards & injuries to line Manager within the time frame as required by Quality, HSSEQ & Energy Policies and Manuals.
· Strict adherence and compliance towards Group HSSEQ Charter & MAESTRO requirement and affiliate’s HSSEQ Policy, Procedures & specific rules & regulations applicable to the area of activity at all time.
· To contribute, meet and improve upon the KPI & EnPI targets as set towards overall HSSEQ and Energy objectives.
· Selection and availability of applicable PPE's at all time and ensuring the strict use of PPE's in work area of responsibility.
· Participate in the training program to acquire HSSEQ knowledge and impart this training to colleagues as and when required by Management.
· Participate in the investigation and analysis of incidents as and when required.
· Participate in the safety risk assessment, health risk assessment, planned general inspections, loss control tours and other kind of audits as per the TELBU HSSEQ requirements.
· Ensure adherence to compliance processes and guidelines specific to position’s roles and responsibilities.
· Control of quality and safety in operations ,as he is the first in line and exposure to HSSEQ can be high due to unsafe acts on quality / safety concerned.
· Demonstrates exemplary conduct, rigor, vigilance and professionalism regarding HSSEQ in all their activities.
· Strict adherence to HSSEQ requirements with full authority to stop any operation for safety reasons.

· Ensure full adherence to the company’s compliance program, its policies and procedures including economic sanctions and export control in all professional activities.
· Promptly notify the compliance officer/economic sanctions referent of any instances of noncompliance or violations of economic sanctions or export control that comes to my attention.
Candidate ProfileKnowledge:
- Good knowledge of lubricants filling process, HSSEQ Management systems/ safety procedures.
- Able to understand filling machine working and manage changeovers / filling machine operations including automation.
Skills:

Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in Lubricant blending unit / process / packaging / machine operations in Similar industry or working experience in any manufacturing unit.
- Computer Proficiency is a must to have with prior know-how on MS Office tools
- Awareness on Safety, ISO 9001 (Quality) & ISO 14001 (Environmental) Management systems, ISO 50001(EMS) is highly preferred
- Experience in working with contractual employees is preferred.
Education:
- Technical Diploma in any discipline – mechanical, electrical etc.
