SENIOR RESERVOIR ENGINEER (ONSHORE BASED)
Technical competencies: Strong experience in reservoir management and field development, integrated subsurface studies, and reservoir simulation. Experience with Enhanced Oil Recovery mechanisms is highly appreciated.
Job Requirements Main Activities: To carry out all aspects of reservoir management activities including field development performance evaluation, data acquisition, strategic surveillance, and monitoring master plans to ensure optimal development.
To carry out pattern balancing and to ensure efficient production and injection processes to maximize vertical and lateral sweep efficiency. Lead design and participate in integrated field reviews and field development plans (RMP considering current wells and planned infill wells).
To design and lead the implementation of project surveillance programs including pressure transient surveys, tracer surveys, interference testing, observation well placement, and cased hole logging programs.
To recommend reservoir areas and programs for pilot studies of various oil recovery enhancement techniques. To present fully justified proposals for field trials of techniques such as water or gas injection, acid fractures, or additional performance enhancements. To monitor results over the scheduled trial life and report findings and recommendations to team members, outlining the estimated impact of enhancements on the field or reservoir.
To conduct reservoir simulation studies to define optimal full-field reservoir development plans (primary, secondary, tertiary depletion scenarios including EOR).
To work within an interdisciplinary team to build and quality control the dynamic model. Integrate SCAL core analyses, PVT data, and geological models during the development of integrated models for full-field development plans.
To ensure the quality, traceability, and reporting of reservoir simulation studies to maintain sustainable reservoir models. Conduct analytical and phenomenological studies if necessary as alternative justifications to presented studies.
General responsibility to adhere to company HSE guidelines and practices, with a strong focus on leading environmental and community initiatives in operational areas.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications: Masters degree in Geosciences and/or Reservoir Engineering. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Fluency in English (speaking, writing, reading). Minimum 10 years of experience in Reservoir Management and Reservoir Simulation. Proficiency in Windows XP, Microsoft Office, and IT tools.

What you will need to do:
- Lead an established team of Section Heads and Engineers to secure the completion of the project within time and budget.
- Manage direct multi-faceted construction activities, including subcontractors and personnel.
- Ensure all construction activities are performed safely and in compliance with applicable policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients and take responsibility for ensuring customer satisfaction for construction and completions activities.
- Provide Construction support to Project Management during the initial planning phase of the project.
- Participate in Constructability and 3D model review sessions.
- Build and manage effective Construction teams.
- Ensure all construction activities are performed in accordance with project specifications and drawings, within budget and time schedules.
- Maintain effective communication and report the status of construction progress to the project team.
- Manage the RFI and change order process in the field.
- Assist with the preparation of change orders.
- Maintain excellent project records and documentation of delays and other potential project impacts.
- Maintain detailed, accurate, and complete documentation of construction activities.
What you will need to have:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering / Master's Degree (Optional but Beneficial).
- Certified Construction Manager (CCM) / Project Management Professional (PMP).
- Relevance of experience in Rotating & Static Equipment Installation and strong understanding of Oil & Gas operations (Brown Field).
- Minimum of 20-25 years of experience with at least 10 years in a managerial role with a focus on Oil & Gas Projects in the Middle East.
- Having previous experience with ADNOC projects (ADNOC approval is an advantage).
- Proven track record of managing large-scale projects.
