About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager for Dark Store Operations to lead and expand our operations within the UAE region. Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, this role involves meticulous planning for scaling our dynamic business, implementing operational efficiency measures, overseeing the launch and management of micro-fulfillment centers/dark stores, and leading a large workforce

What you’ll do

  • Manage operations for a large network of Dark Stores:
  • Oversee operational performance for all dark stores in the UAE. Analyze store metrics to enhance user experience efficiently. Balance your time between data analysis and on-ground operations, dedicating the majority of your efforts to solving problems and improving processes on-site
  • Monitor service quality, in-store operations, and challenges to identify operational gaps, inefficiencies, and risks. Collaborate with various teams to develop and implement solutions. Analyze data to generate insights and break down complex operational and logistical issues into actionable plans. Scale these efforts across a large network by defining and promoting best practices
  • Lead a large team and workforce:
  • Exhibit strong leadership in operations or logistics, with a track record of team management, strategic direction setting, and performance improvement
  • Mentor and support team members, fostering their professional growth and development. Cultivate a culture of accountability and high performance, leading by example and encouraging a collaborative and innovative work environment
  • Planning and execution for scale:

What you’ll need

  • Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively, achieving organizational objectives and fostering a culture of accountability, professional growth, and high performance

Job Purpose

An Overhaul Workshop Manager (Operations Support) will lead, organize and manage the day-to-day activities of the Workshop operational areas in order to support the company’s commercial and operational requirements and ensure optimum deployment of resources to achieve efficient, safe and cost effective results. Manage all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance requirements within the Workshop operational areas, liaising closely, as appropriate, with Line Maintenance / Base Operation, Base Heavy Maintenance and Engine shop on the appropriate Workshop support requirements and deadlines.

In This Role, You Will
  1. Be responsible for supporting the Engine shop, Line Maintenance, Base Operations and Base Heavy Maintenance program including C Checks and Cabin Retrofits by managing the repairs and overhaul of components, NDT inspections and Structures, ensuring quality standards and turn-around-time deadlines are met. Forecast requirements for future maintenance inputs and make the necessary provisions to allow for timely handling and completion. Maintain operational obligations by ensuring optimum deployment of resources in accordance with the task requirements, ensuring all targets and deadlines are achievable.
  2. Evaluate the current processes for efficiency and plan and suggest any amendments required to the procedures, deficiencies and safety issues and suggest where improvements can be implemented to improve the overall productivity and quality. Develop and recommend to the Manager Overhaul Workshops (MOW), plans to increase productivity and capability in the affected Workshops highlighting savings and costs on a case by case basis and implement changes to processes and procedures.
  3. Develop and maintain close working relationships with various departments including Engine shop, Line Maintenance, Base Operations, Base Heavy Maintenance, Maintenance Planning, Production Planning, Maintenance Control, Technical Services and the Materials Department, so as to be able to liaise as and when necessary, ensuring the achievement of tasks within a time-scale so as to not have any impact on the down time and /or the quality of the finished product. Plan and liaise with the stores and equipment technician to ensure the materials are available and equipment is serviceable for the task and any shortages that will impact the targeted dates. Devise an alternative plan to work around any short fall so as to not delay the inputs.
  4. Provide detailed justification to the affected MOW for manpower increases identifying all benefits and alternate options.
  5. Provide support and advice to all staff on technical/operational matters within the workshop area and to other departments of Emirates (i.e. Service Delivery, Customer Affairs etc.) as required.
  6. Carry out audits of various activities and document findings to establish trends and recommend to the appropriate MOW, the necessary plans to counteract any issues.
  7. Produce monthly reports detailing the activities that have been taking place within each section of the Workshops operational areas. To include average TRT, Number of components completed, number of components in work, details of delay or shortages, staff training, overtime & lieu hours worked and sickness levels.
  8. Maintain the highest quality standards by constantly ensuring staff under direct control are aware of all technical publications and revisions and maintain a 'Read and Sign' register to reflect the same. Conduct quality circle programmes engaging staff from all grades in an effort to identify areas that require improvement and initiate action plans to deal with working environment issues.
  9. Conduct monthly meetings with staff highlighting any concerns and expectations which shall be documented. Use this forum to communicate and emphasize any management issues and instill a safety culture amongst the staff to actively participate in the drive to maintain good engineering and housekeeping practices.
  10. Ensure staff welfare and report overall performance of staff regularly, recommending any needed training and development programmes to ensure continuous learning and progression. Ensure all staff are trained and qualified to carry out their duties and agree on an action plan with time scales for qualifications to be gained. Identifying all technical and non-technical training requirements to address staff and business needs to the benefit of the section ensuring productivity is maximised.
Qualifications & Experience

To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:

  1. National / Higher National Diploma (12+3 or equivalent) or Apprenticeship in Mechanical, Electronic, Avionics or Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent training with a reputable airline or an approved maintenance organization with 12+ years’ experience in Engineering or Workshops.
  2. Hold a license and or Shop Approval applicable to the specific area acceptable to the local authorities or equivalent professional qualifications.
  3. Experience in commercial workshop maintenance and held a position of Supervisor or demonstrated management experience.
  4. Detailed knowledge of testing/overhaul/repair and modification of modern aircraft components as fitted to the Emirates fleet.

Overview

The TTS Treasury Operations Manager role is fast-paced, operational and central to our daily success.

You will be responsible for overseeing and managing key treasury functions within the organization. This includes cash management, liquidity planning, financial risk management and funding. You will work closely with senior management to ensure efficient use of company funds and optimize financial risk

Key Responsibilities

  • Cash and Liquidity Management: Oversee daily liquidity management, to meet the operational needs of the business, whilst maximising efficiency in capital deployed

  • Risk Management: Identify and assess financial risks, and implement and monitor hedging strategies to manage them

Qualifications

Trade marketing and Operations Manager ( ME)

Job Description

To optimize channel partnerships with a focus on customer channels such as pharmacies, ensuring seamless implementation of agreed point-of-sale (POS) activities in alignment with Galderma Global guidelines. This involves fostering cross-functional collaboration with e-commerce and digital teams of Cluster and Galderma Global to enhance overall customer experience. Additionally, the core mission includes organizing trade promotional activities, visibility in POs effectively, sharing best trade practices, and implementing trade loyalty programs to drive sales and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders.

Duties & Responsibilities

Manage Channel Partnerships:

  • Develop collaborative strategies with partners to effectively promote products and services to customers. Monitor localization of this strategy by distributor to main channels: pharmacies, etc.

Ensure Implementation of POS Activities:

  • Oversee the execution of agreed point-of-sale (POS) activities according to Galderma Global guidelines, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand standards. Monitor POS initiatives to track effectiveness and make adjustments in collaboration with Galderma distributors as necessary to optimize results.

  • Work closely with Galderma Global and Cluster e-commerce and digital teams to integrate channel partnership strategies with e-pharmacies or other POS. Coordinate efforts with Cluster Team to ensure synergy and alignment of objectives across the organization

Organize Trade Promotional Activities:

  • Plan and execute trade promotional activities aimed at enhancing brand visibility and driving sales in pharmacies and other customer channels. Manage visibility of Galderma products within pharmacies effectively to maximize product visibility and impact.

  • Tracking of Promotional Spend vs allocated budgets

Share Best Trade Practices:

  • Identify and disseminate best trade practices to channel partners within Galderma Global Team or the Cluster to drive continuous improvement. Provide guidance and support to partners in implementing effective promotional strategies and tactics.

Implement Trade Loyalty Programs:

  • Develop and implement trade loyalty programs aimed at incentivizing channel partners and fostering long-term relationships.

  • Monitor program effectiveness and make recommendations for enhancements based on feedback and performance metrics.

Minimum Requirements

  • University Degree.

  • Min 5 years’ experience in trade marketing (promotional strategy, shel-management, customer loyalty program development, awareness of brand) ·

  • Proven success track record

  • English and Arabic

We are seeking to hire a new Operations Manager to support the General Manager in strategic and core operations to achieve MedNet UAE business targets, improve service levels, spearhead cross departmental projects / innovation initiatives in the UAE market. The UAE Operations Manager is responsible for the performance and management of Production & Analytics, Medical/Pre-Authorization, Claims, Customer Service and Network departments in the UAE market

Your Job:

  • Support in annual strategic, operational, and financial planning process for UAE market by collecting and analysing required data across departments and developing budgetary recommendations
  • Conduct periodic operational audits related to efficiency, quality & compliance aspects specified through internal and external Service Level Agreements and regulatory requirements laid down by local regulators
  • Responsible for setting goals and driving performances for core operational departments – Production & Analytics, Medical/Pre- Authorization, Claims, Network, Customer Service units
  • Lead and supervise specifically-defined strategic & operational projects to ensure a smooth execution and that the business objectives are met
  • Seek to improve the operational efficiency and effectiveness of all aspects of the business by ensuring operational processes are well aligned within departments
  • Formulate operational policies and control procedures / workflows for MedNet UAE team
  • Conduct cost-benefit analysis on operational / project investments and educate parties involved on success factors and areas for improvement
  • Review medical trends, fraudulent cases and investigate on operational breaches related to local regulators requirements and service agreements and escalate for required actions
  • Spearhead market research, feasibility analysis and surveys on a timely basis and provide suitable recommendations to enhance MedNet UAE activities and processes
Qualifications

Your Profile:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Business or related University degree, MBA is a plus.
  • Six-sigma or other process improvement methodology certification is a plus.
  • 10 -15 years of experience in healthcare / TPA operations
  • Large experience in managing complex operations environment, at least the last 5 years in Senior roles
  • Operational track record with proven results
  • Experience in managing operations through efficiency, quality, and customer experience
  • Experience in working with Senior management
  • Experience of working in a diverse and international environment
  • Evidence of leading and closing successful Projects
  • Experience in working in a very regulated and with strong compliance ethics environment

Job-Specific Knowledge & Skills:

  • Ability to manage diverse teams
  • Sound knowledge of management and controlling systems and strategy
  • Sound experience in project management
  • Sound experience in process improvement methodologies (e.g. Six-sigma)
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft applications, especially profound experience in developing PowerPoint Presentations, MS Project, and Excel
  • Fluent business English (verbal and written skills)
  • Ability to provide leadership & motivate team members
