We are seeking a skilled and highly motivated BIM Manager to join our architectural firm in Dubai. As a BIM Manager, you will lead the implementation and management of BIM technologies and processes across various architectural, engineering, and construction projects. You will collaborate with design and project teams to ensure seamless integration and coordination of BIM processes, ensuring the highest quality in project deliverables and efficiency in workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
- BIM Strategy & Implementation: Lead the development and implementation of BIM strategies and processes for architectural, engineering, and construction projects. Establish workflows and ensure BIM standards are followed throughout the project lifecycle.
- BIM Software Management: Manage and maintain BIM software tools (such as Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360) ensuring they are used effectively across the project team.
- Collaboration & Coordination: Coordinate with internal and external teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure smooth integration of BIM models, promoting a collaborative environment.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all BIM models and data are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with company standards and project requirements. Perform quality control checks to ensure models are free from conflicts or errors.
- Training & Support: Provide training and technical support to team members on BIM tools, processes, and best practices. Promote continuous improvement through knowledge sharing.
- Project Management: Oversee BIM-related project workflows, schedules, and resources. Monitor project timelines and ensure that BIM deliverables are provided on time and within budget.
- Collaboration with Stakeholders: Collaborate with clients, contractors, consultants, and project managers to ensure that the BIM process meets their expectations and project needs.
- Document Control & Reporting: Generate regular reports on BIM progress, clash detection results, and other related project documentation. Assist with the preparation of project documentation and presentations as required.
- Innovation: Stay up to date with emerging BIM technologies and trends. Recommend and implement innovative solutions to improve project efficiency, accuracy, and collaboration.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in BIM management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role, preferably within an architectural or AEC (architecture, engineering, construction) firm.
- Extensive knowledge of BIM tools and software such as Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, Dynamo, and AutoCAD .
- Strong understanding of BIM processes and workflows across all project phases (design, construction, and operation).
- Experience in creating and enforcing BIM standards and protocols.
- Familiarity with BIM applications for project coordination, clash detection, and model integration.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); Arabic is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in BIM Management or related BIM qualifications.
- Experience with cloud-based collaboration tools and digital project management software (e.g., BIM 360, Procore).
- Experience in coordinating large-scale projects with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of UAE building codes, regulations, and industry standards.

Quantity Take-off:
- Produce quantity reports per Client requirements.
4D Schedules:
- Develop the modeling schedule and Prepare 4D simulations

- Define scopes of work, evaluate site problems and issue RFIs.
- Site Inspection and liaising with trade contractors.
- Update and distribute documents and models to subcontractors and maintain control logs (as applicable).
- Prepare and maintain submittal logs and expediting log for BIM models.
- Attend and /or manage model coordination meetings and document project preconstruction / BIM meetings (write minutes).
- Coordinate models with internal and subcontractor detailers and modelers Record coordination sign offs.
- Process shop drawing level models for approval.
Field Coordination:
- Assist project team with construction coordination and scheduling, print drawing sets for team review.
- Support Client to calculate quantities for material orders and crew work planning.
- Prepare 3D models and dimension shop drawing sheets for field use and review.
- Export DWF and others formats for Inter-Disciplinary Clash Detection. Create job layout driven by 3D model data.

Our Multi Award winning Architecture & Design client has a new requirement for a well experienced Technical Architect to join their team in Dubai to work on a new build hospitality, residential and mixed use high rise projects in the UAE and MENA region. Successful candidates will have strong experience in SD and DD phases of the project and proven regional experience as a Technical Architect handling spatial planning, technical design and coordination across disciplines and have worked with a recognised consultancy company background. This role is available for immediate joining and is an initial 3-6 Month contract position as an outsource employed by J10 Consulting. Key Responsibilities: • Developing architectural design (using Revit) based on design brief with a specific focus on Technical Schematic and Detail design phases • Working with a team of designers, evaluating individual design, reviewing drafts and computer models, and approving design changes/deliverables, as well as overall team performance. • Coordinating the design with Structural & MEP Engineers. • Preparation of drawings and details. • Collaborate with architects, designers, and engineers to develop detailed architectural models using Revit software. • Implement BIM best practices and standards to ensure consistency and efficiency in modeling and documentation. • Provide technical expertise and support to project teams in the use of Revit software and BIM workflows. • Conduct model reviews and clash detection analysis to identify and resolve design conflicts. • Generate accurate construction documentation, including plans, elevations, and sections, from the BIM models. • Assist in the development of BIM execution plans and project-specific BIM protocols. • Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and technologies in BIM and architectural design. • Mentor junior staff members and provide training on Revit software and BIM processes.
Requirements
• Education: Bachelor in Architecture. • Experience wise must have a minimum of 8 years of experience, most recent experience must be in UAE - 2 years minimum, and MUST have worked for well-regarded design consultancies as opposed to Contractors. • Software: Autodesk REVIT essential, proficiency in Rhino, Grasshopper, Enscape is preferred • Strong Technical detailing, spatial planning and design coordinator of new build high rise towers including hospitality, residential and mixed use projects • Strong experience in Schematic and Detail Design of projects.
