This is a teaching position that requires the candidate to have experience working with students who do not speak English as their first language.

The ideal candidate will be able to deliver engaging lessons, inspire students to succeed and achieve the best possible outcomes.

• To teach Humanities subjects to a class of students and plan engaging lessons that meet the requirements of the curriculum.
• To work collaboratively with other teachers to develop lesson plans and ensure consistency across the school.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in the related subject with PGCE or other teacher qualification.

Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) is looking for passionate and highly motivated Teaching Faculty in the field of Ethics. The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction at the under-graduate level, mentoring students, contributing to curriculum development, and will also have the opportunity to collaborate with leading AI researchers. We are seeking faculty at all levels (Assistant, Associate, Full Professor) to:

• Deliver under-graduate-level courses in Ethics, particularly in the context of artificial intelligence.
• Develop course materials, including lectures, assignments, exams, and lab exercises.
• Foster an engaging and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student interaction and critical thinking.
• Provide timely feedback and academic guidance to students.
• Supervise student research projects, theses, and dissertations.

Qualifications

This position requires a PhD in Philosophy, Ethics or a closely related field. Candidates should have a keen interest in mentoring students.
